verily i was sure that i should be a meeter of my reckoning .
« እኔ ምርመራየን የምገናኝ መኾኔን አረጋገጥኩ ፤ » ( ተዘጋጀሁም ይላል ) ፡ ፡

verily i was sure that i would be handed over my account . ”
« እኔ ምርመራየን የምገናኝ መኾኔን አረጋገጥኩ ፤ » ( ተዘጋጀሁም ይላል ) ፡ ፡

“ i was certain that i will confront my account . ”
« እኔ ምርመራየን የምገናኝ መኾኔን አረጋገጥኩ ፤ » ( ተዘጋጀሁም ይላል ) ፡ ፡

indeed , i was certain that i would be meeting my account . "
« እኔ ምርመራየን የምገናኝ መኾኔን አረጋገጥኩ ፤ » ( ተዘጋጀሁም ይላል ) ፡ ፡

i was sure that the record of my deeds would be shown to me " .
« እኔ ምርመራየን የምገናኝ መኾኔን አረጋገጥኩ ፤ » ( ተዘጋጀሁም ይላል ) ፡ ፡

for i suppose i was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.
ከእነዚህ ከዋነኞቹ ሐዋርያት በአንድ ነገር እንኳ እንደ ጎደልሁ ራሴን አልቆጥርም።

but when the jews spake against it, i was constrained to appeal unto caesar; not that i had ought to accuse my nation of.
አይሁድ ግን በተቃወሙ ጊዜ፥ ወደ ቄሣር ይግባኝ እንድል ግድ ሆነብኝ እንጂ ሕዝቤን የምከስበት ነገር ኖሮኝ አይደለም።

whereupon, o king agrippa, i was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
ንጉሥ አግሪጳ ሆይ፥ ስለዚህ ከሰማይ የታየኝን ራእይ እምቢ አላልሁም።

and i am glad for your sakes that i was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
እንድታምኑም በዚያ ባለመኖሬ ስለ እናንተ ደስ ይለኛል፤ ነገር ግን ወደ እርሱ እንሂድ አላቸው።

lest any soul should say : alas , my grief that i was unmindful of allah , and i was indeed among the scoffers !
( የካደች ) ነፍስ « እኔ ከሚሳለቁት የነበርኩ ስኾን በአላህ በኩል ባጓደልኩት ዋ ጸጸቴ » ማለቷን ( ለመፍራት ) ፤

" so peace is on me the day i was born , the day that i die , and the day that i shall be raised up to life ( again ) " !
« ሰላምም በእኔ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡ በተወለድሁ ቀን ፣ በምሞትበትም ቀን ፣ ሕያው ኾኜ በምቀሰቀስበትም ቀን ፡ ፡ »

and he saith unto him, out of thine own mouth will i judge thee, thou wicked servant. thou knewest that i was an austere man, taking up that i laid not down, and reaping that i did not sow:
እርሱም። አንተ ክፉ ባሪያ፥ አፍህ በተናገረው እፈርድብሃለሁ። እኔ ያላኖርሁትን የምወስድና ያልዘራሁትን የማጭድ ጨካኝ ሰው እንደ ሆንሁ አወቅህ፤ ምን ነው ገንዘቤን ለለዋጮች አደራ ያልሰጠኸው?

and surely among you is he who would certainly hang back ! if then a misfortune befalls you he says : surely allah conferred a benefit on me that i was not present with them .
ከእናንተም ውስጥ በእርግጥ ( ከዘመቻ ) ወደ ኋላ የሚንጓደድ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ አደጋም ብታገኛችሁ ከእነሱ ጋር ተጣጅ ባልኾንኩ ጊዜ አላህ በእኔ ላይ በእርግጥ ለገሰልኝ ይላል ፡ ፡

among you are some who lag behind and if you encounter a setback , they say , " god has been gracious to me ; i was not present with them . "
ከእናንተም ውስጥ በእርግጥ ( ከዘመቻ ) ወደ ኋላ የሚንጓደድ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ አደጋም ብታገኛችሁ ከእነሱ ጋር ተጣጅ ባልኾንኩ ጊዜ አላህ በእኔ ላይ በእርግጥ ለገሰልኝ ይላል ፡ ፡

( joseph said ) , " this proves that i was not disloyal to the king in his absence . god does not grant success to the efforts of disloyal people .
( ዩሱፍ ) « ይህ ( ጌታዬ ) ሩቅ ሆኖ ሳለ ያልከዳሁት መሆኔን አላህም የከዳተኞችን ተንኮል የማያቃና መሆኑን እንዲያውቅ ነው ፤ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

among you there is such who lags behind , then if some affliction strikes you , he says : ' indeed allah bestowed his favour upon me that i was not present with them . '
ከእናንተም ውስጥ በእርግጥ ( ከዘመቻ ) ወደ ኋላ የሚንጓደድ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ አደጋም ብታገኛችሁ ከእነሱ ጋር ተጣጅ ባልኾንኩ ጊዜ አላህ በእኔ ላይ በእርግጥ ለገሰልኝ ይላል ፡ ፡

and indeed , there is among you he who lingers behind ; and if disaster strikes you , he says , " allah has favored me in that i was not present with them . "
ከእናንተም ውስጥ በእርግጥ ( ከዘመቻ ) ወደ ኋላ የሚንጓደድ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ አደጋም ብታገኛችሁ ከእነሱ ጋር ተጣጅ ባልኾንኩ ጊዜ አላህ በእኔ ላይ በእርግጥ ለገሰልኝ ይላል ፡ ፡

surely , there are among you , he who lingers , then , if an affliction hits you , he would say : ' allah has favored me , that i was not a martyr with them '
ከእናንተም ውስጥ በእርግጥ ( ከዘመቻ ) ወደ ኋላ የሚንጓደድ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ አደጋም ብታገኛችሁ ከእነሱ ጋር ተጣጅ ባልኾንኩ ጊዜ አላህ በእኔ ላይ በእርግጥ ለገሰልኝ ይላል ፡ ፡

i have for you in my heart and that you understand everything that i want to express to you on this opportunity. i perfectly remember the day in which i saw you for the first time because it was as if at that moment i was hit by one of cupid’s arrows, as if time had stopped completely and everyone had gathered around you to allow me to fully appreciate the magnitude of your beauty, which got my heart beating with a completely different pace all of a sudden.
የእኔ ፍቅር ፣ ይህ ቀን በጣም ልዩ እንዲሆን እፈልጋለሁ ፣ ምክንያቱም ዛሬ የልደት ቀንዎ ስለሆነ እና በእኔ ውስጥ የሚነሱትን ጥሩ ስሜቶች ሁሉ ለእርስዎ ለመንገር ልቤን ለመክፈት ስለፈለግኩ ፣ በዚህ ዓለም ውስጥ ያለኝ በጣም አስፈላጊ ሰው ሆነሻል ፣ የመሆን የእኔ ምክንያት ፣ የደስታዬ ምንጭ እና ይህን ዓለም ለመጋፈጥ የእኔ በጣም ኃይለኛ ተነሳሽነት ነዎት ፡፡ አንዳንድ ጊዜ ለእርስዎ ያለኝን ስሜት ሁሉ ለመግለጽ በቂ ቃላት የሉም ብዬ አስባለሁ ፣ ግን ይህን ደብዳቤ ሲያነቡ ከፍተኛ ፍቅር እንደሚሰማዎት ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ ፡፡
