« ሃሩንን ወንድሜን ፡ ፡

let it be known that we will turn all things on earth into dust .
እኛም በእርሷ ላይ ያለውን ( በመጨረሻ ) በእርግጥ በቃይ የሌለበት ምልጥ ዐፈር አድራጊዎች ነን ፡ ፡

and we let it remain upon him in the latter :
በርሱም ላይ በኋለኞቹ ሕዝቦች ውስጥ ( መልካም ዝናን ) ተውን ፡ ፡

nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas .
ይቅርታም ይጠይቁ ዘንድ ፤ ለእነርሱ አይፈቀድላቸውም ፡ ፡

without saying , " if it be god 's will . "
( በመሓላቸው ) አያስቀሩምም ፡ ፡

then shall it be said : this is what you gave the lie to .
ከዚያም « ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ይባላሉ ፡ ፡

and if it be meet that i go also, they shall go with me.
እኔ ደግሞ ልሄድ የሚገባኝ ብሆን ከእኔ ጋር አብረው ይሄዳሉ።

even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners -
እንደዚሁ ( ማስተባበልን ) በአመጸኞቹ ልቦች ውስጥ እናገባዋለን ፡ ፡

they will question you about the hour : ' when shall it be '
« ከሰዓቲቱ መቼ ነው መኾኛዋ ? » ሲሉ ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡

let it not delude thee , that the unbelievers go to and fro in the land ;
የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች በአገሮች መንፈላሰስ አያታልህ ፡ ፡

but how will it be when the angels cause them to die smiting their backs .
መላእክትም ፊቶቻቸውንና ጀርባዎቻቸውን የሚመቱ ሲኾኑ በገደሉዋቸው ጊዜ ( ኹኔታቸው ) እንዴት ይኾናል ?

but made no reservation , ( " if it be allah 's will " ) .
( በመሓላቸው ) አያስቀሩምም ፡ ፡

and ye shall not will unless it be that allah , the lord of the worlds , willeth .
የዓለማት ጌታ አላህ ካልሻም አትሹም ፡ ፡

" why bringest thou not angels to us if it be that thou hast the truth ? "
« ከእውነተኞቹ እንደ ኾንክ በመላእክት ( መስካሪ ) ለምን አትመጣንም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

and ye will not , unless ( it be ) that allah willeth , the lord of creation .
የዓለማት ጌታ አላህ ካልሻም አትሹም ፡ ፡

that he might justify truth and prove falsehood false , distasteful though it be to those in guilt .
( ይህንንም ያደረገው ) አጋሪዎቹ ቢጠሉም እውነቱን ሊያረጋግጥ ክህደትንም ሊያጠፋ ነው ፡ ፡

all his command , when he wills something , is to say to it ‘ be , ’ and it is .
ነገሩም አንዳችን በሻ ጊዜ ኹን ማለት ነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያው ይኾናልም ፡ ፡

all that we say to a thing , when we will it , is to say to it ‘ be ! ’ and it is .
ለማንኛውም ነገር ( መኾኑን ) በሻነው ጊዜ ቃላችን ለእርሱ « ኹን » ማለት ብቻ ነው ፤ ወዲውም ይኾናል ፡ ፡

and we let it ( the beautiful praise ) remain upon on both of them in the latter ( generations ) ,
በሁለቱም ላይ በኋለኞቹ ሕዝቦች ውስጥ መልካም ዝናን ተውንላቸው ፡ ፡
