anxious when an ill befalls him
ክፉ ነገር ባገኘው ጊዜ ብስጪተኛ ፡ ፡

and they who turn away from ill speech
እነዚያም እነርሱ ከውድቅ ንግግር ራቂዎች ፡ ፡

he who cures me when i am ill ;
« በታመምኩም ጊዜ እርሱ ያሽረኛል ፡ ፡

what ails you ? how ill you judge !
ለእናንተ ምን ( አስረጅ ) አላችሁ ? እንዴት ትፈርዳላችሁ ፡ ፡

and who , when i am ill , heals me ;
« በታመምኩም ጊዜ እርሱ ያሽረኛል ፡ ፡

and when i am ill , it is he who cures me
« በታመምኩም ጊዜ እርሱ ያሽረኛል ፡ ፡

no ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood -
በውስጧ ትርፍ ቃልንም ማስዋሸትንም አይሰሙም ፡ ፡

all this ; but for the insolent awaits an ill resort ,
ይህ ( ለአማኞች ነው ) ፡ ፡ ለጠማሞችም በጣም የከፋ መመለሻ አላቸው ፡ ፡

and we sent against them a howling wind in a day of continuous of ill fortune
እኛ በእነርሱ ላይ ዘወትር መናጢ በኾነ ቀን በኀይል የምትንሻሻ ነፋስን ላክንባቸው ፡ ፡

and we rained upon them a rain ; ill was the rain upon the warned .
በእነርሱም ላይ ( የድንጋይ ) ዝናብን አዘነብንባቸው ፡ ፡ የተስፈራሪዎቹም ዝናብ ከፋ ፡ ፡

all of this ; but , for the proud there is an ill return .
ይህ ( ለአማኞች ነው ) ፡ ፡ ለጠማሞችም በጣም የከፋ መመለሻ አላቸው ፡ ፡

and touch her not with ill , lest there take hold of you the torment of a mighty day .
« በክፉም አትንኳት ፡ ፡ የታላቅ ቀን ቅጣት ይይዛችኋልና ፡ ፡ »

do those who do evil imagine that they will escape us ? how ill they judge !
ይልቁንም እነዚያ መጥፎዎችን ሥራዎች የሚሠሩት ሊያመልጡን ይጠረጥራሉን ያ የሚፈርዱት ( ፍርድ ) ከፋ ፡ ፡

a brief enjoyment , and then hell shall be their abode ; ill is the resort !
አነስተኛ ጥቅም ነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም መኖሪያቸው ገሀነም ናት ፡ ፡ ምን ትከፋም ምንጣፍ !

allah will deliver those who were godwary with their salvation . no ill shall touch them , nor will they grieve .
እነዚያንም የተጠነቀቁትን በማግኛቸው ስፍራ ኾነው አላህ ያድናቸዋል ፡ ፡ ክፉ ነገር አይነካቸውም ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አያዝኑም ፡ ፡

and when we make life pleasant unto man , he turneth away and is averse ; and when ill toucheth him he is in despair .
በሰውም ላይ ጸጋችንን በለገስን ጊዜ ( ከምስጋና ) ይዞራል ፡ ፡ ጎኑንም ( ከእውነት ) ያርቃል ፡ ፡ ችግርም በነካው ጊዜ ተስፋ ቆራጭ ይኾናል ፡ ፡

and we will remove all ill-feelings from their hearts brothers and sisters — , on couches facing one another .
« ባልጋዎችም ላይ ፊት ለፊት የሚቅጣጩ ወንድማማቾች ኾነው በደረቶቻቸው ውስጥ ከቂም ያለውን ሁሉ እናስወግዳለን ፡ ፡

and [ they are ] those who do not testify to falsehood , and when they pass near ill speech , they pass by with dignity .
እነዚያም እብለትን የማይመሰክሩ ፤ በውድቅ ቃልም ( ተናጋሪ አጠገብ ) ባለፉ ጊዜ የከበሩ ኾነው የሚያልፉት ናቸው ፡ ፡
