and if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
ይህም በገዢው ዘንድ የተሰማ እንደ ሆነ፥ እኛ እናስረዳዋለን እናንተም ያለ ሥጋት እንድትሆኑ እናደርጋለን አሉአቸው።

knowing therefore the terror of the lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto god; and i trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
እንግዲህ የጌታን ፍርሃት አውቀን ሰዎችን እናስረዳለን ለእግዚአብሔር ግን የተገለጥን ነን፤ በሕሊናችሁም ደግሞ የተገለጥን እንደ ሆንን ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ።

for do i now persuade men, or god? or do i seek to please men? for if i yet pleased men, i should not be the servant of christ.
ሰውን ወይስ እግዚአብሔርን አሁን እሺ አሰኛለሁን? ወይም ሰውን ደስ ላሰኝ እፈልጋለሁን? አሁን ሰውን ደስ ባሰኝ የክርስቶስ ባሪያ ባልሆንሁም።

and they tried to persuade him regarding his guests – we therefore blinded their eyes , “ so taste my punishment , and my warnings . ”
ከእንግዶቹም እንዲያስመቻቸው ደጋግመው ፈለጉት ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም ዓይኖቻቸውን አበስን ፡ ፡ « ቅጣቴንና ማስጠንቀቂያዎቼንም ቅመሱ » ( አልናቸው ) ፡ ፡

fight thou therefore in the way of allah thou are not tasked except for thy own soul , and persuade the believers ; belike allah will withhold the violence of those who disbelieve . and allah is stronger in violence and stronger in chastising .
በአላህም መንገድ ተጋደል ፡ ፡ ራስህን እንጅ ሌላን አትገደድም ፡ ፡ ምእምናንንም ( በመጋደል ላይ ) አደፋፍር ፡ ፡ አላህ የእነዚያን የካዱትን ኀይል ሊከለክል ይከጀላል ፡ ፡ አላህም በኀይል በመያዙ የበረታ ቅጣቱም የጠነከረ ነው ፡ ፡
