and none of you could have restrained us from him .
ከእናንተም ውስጥ ከእርሱ ላይ ከልካዮች ምንም አይኖሩም ፡ ፡

houris ( beautiful , fair females ) restrained in pavilions ;
በድንኳኖች ውስጥ የተጨጎሉ የዓይኖቻቸው ጥቁረትና ንጣት ደማቅ የኾኑ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and there will be with them maidens of restrained glances , of a like age .
እነርሱ ዘንድም ዓይኖቻቸውን ( በባሎቻቸው ላይ ) አሳጣሪዎች እኩያዎች ( ሴቶች ) አልሉ ፡ ፡

and as for him who dreaded standing before his lord , and restrained his soul from lust ,
በጌታው ፊት መቆምን የፈራ ሰውማ ነፍሱንም ከዝንባሌዋ የከለከለ

and with them will be maidens , of restrained glances with big [ beautiful ] eyes ,
እነርሱም ዘንድ ዓይናቸውን ( በባሎቻቸው ላይ ) አሳጣሪዎች የኾኑ ዓይናማዎች አልሉ ፡ ፡

in them are maidens of restrained glances , whom no human has touched before , nor jinn .
በውስጣቸው ከበፊታቸው ( ከባሎቻቸው በፊት ) ሰውም ጃንም ያልገሰሳቸው ዓይኖቻቸውን ( በባሎቻቸው ላይ ) አሳጣሪዎች ( ሴቶች ) አልሉ ፡ ፡

however , those who had feared their lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires .
በጌታው ፊት መቆምን የፈራ ሰውማ ነፍሱንም ከዝንባሌዋ የከለከለ

but as for him who feared standing before his lord , and restrained himself from impure evil desires , and lusts .
በጌታው ፊት መቆምን የፈራ ሰውማ ነፍሱንም ከዝንባሌዋ የከለከለ

and of the devils were some that dived for him , and performed other , lesser tasks . but we kept them restrained .
ከሰይጣናትም ለእርሱ ( ሉልን ለማውጣት ) የሚጠልሙንና ከዚያም ሌላ ያለን ሥራ የሚሠሩን ( ገራንለት ) ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ተጠባባቂዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and on the day when the enemies of allah are herded towards the fire , the earlier groups will be restrained till the latter join them .
የአላህም ጠላቶች ወደ እሳት የሚሰበሰቡበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱም የሚከመከሙ ኾነው ይነዳሉ ፡ ፡

in the midst of these shall be maidens with modest , restrained glances ; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before .
በውስጣቸው ከበፊታቸው ( ከባሎቻቸው በፊት ) ሰውም ጃንም ያልገሰሳቸው ዓይኖቻቸውን ( በባሎቻቸው ላይ ) አሳጣሪዎች ( ሴቶች ) አልሉ ፡ ፡

remember allah 's favour upon you . when a certain people decided to stretch their hands against you , he restrained their hands from you .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ሕዝቦች እጆቻቸውን ወደ እናንተ ሊዘረጉ ባሰቡና እጆቻቸውን ከእናንተ ላይ በከለከላችሁ ጊዜ በናንተ ላይ ( የዋለላችሁን ) የአላህን ጸጋ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ምእመናንም በአላህ ላይ ይመኩ ፡ ፡

allah has promised that you take many spoils . he has hastened this to you , and restrained the hands of people from you so that he makes it a sign to the believers and to guide you on a straight path .
አላህ ብዙዎችን ዘረፋዎች የምትወስዷቸው የኾኑን ተስፋ አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህችንም ለእናንተ አስቸኮለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሰዎችን እጆች ከለከለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ልታመሰግኑትና ) ለምእምናንም ምልክት እንድትኾን ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ ይመራችሁም ዘንድ ( ይህንን ሠራላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

and among the devils , were those who dived ( in water ) for him and did works other than this ; and we had kept them restrained .
ከሰይጣናትም ለእርሱ ( ሉልን ለማውጣት ) የሚጠልሙንና ከዚያም ሌላ ያለን ሥራ የሚሠሩን ( ገራንለት ) ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ተጠባባቂዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

and he it is who restrained their hands from you and your hands from them , in the vale of makka so , after he had made you superior to them ; and allah is of that which ye work ever a beholder .
እርሱም ያ በመካ ውስጥ በእነርሱ ላይ ካስቻለችሁ በኋላ እጆቻቸውን ከእናንተ ላይ እጆቻችሁንም ከእነርሱ ላይ የከለከለ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

( charity is ) for the poor who are restrained in the way of allah , and are unable to journey in the land . the ignorant take them to be rich because of their abstinence .
( የምትመጸውቱት ) ለእነዚያ በአላህ መንገድ ( ለመታገል ሲሉ ) ለታገዱት ድኾች ነው ፡ ፡ በምድር መኼድን አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ( ልመናን ) ከመጥጠበቃቸው ( የተነሳ ) የማያውቅ ሰው ሀብታሞች ናቸው ብሎ ይጠረጥራቸዋል ፡ ፡ በምልክታቸው ታውቃቸዋለህ ፡ ፡ ሰዎችን በችክታ አይለምኑም ፡ ፡ ከገንዘብም የምትለግሱት አላህ እርሱን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their lord 's ( tribunal ) and had restrained ( their ) soul from lower desires ,
በጌታው ፊት መቆምን የፈራ ሰውማ ነፍሱንም ከዝንባሌዋ የከለከለ

" o ' iesa ( jesus ) , son of maryam ( mary ) ! remember my favour to you and to your mother when i supported you with ruh-ul-qudus [ jibrael ( gabriel ) ] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity ; and when i taught you writing , al-hikmah ( the power of understanding ) , the taurat ( torah ) and the injeel ( gospel ) ; and when you made out of the clay , as it were , the figure of a bird , by my permission , and you breathed into it , and it became a bird by my permission , and you healed those born blind , and the lepers by my permission , and when you brought forth the dead by my permission ; and when i restrained the children of israel from you ( when they resolved to kill you ) since you came unto them with clear proofs , and the disbelievers among them said : ' this is nothing but evident magic . ' "
አላህ በሚል ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! በአንተና በእናትህ ላይ ( የዋልኩላችሁን ) ጸጋዬን አስታውስ ፡ ፡ በሕፃንነትና በከፈኒሳነት ( የበሰለ ሰው ኾነህ ) ሰዎችን የምትናገር ስትኾን በቅዱስ መንፈስ ( በገብሬል ) ባበረታሁህ ጊዜ ፤ ጽሕፈትንና ጥበብንም ተውራትንና ኢንጂልንም ባስተማርኩህ ጊዜ ፣ ከጭቃም የወፍ ቅርጽ ብጤ በፈቃዴ በምትሠራና በውስጧ በምትነፋ በፈቃዴም ወፍ በምትኾን ጊዜ ፣ ዕውርም ኾኖ የተወለደንና ለምጻምንም በፈቃዴ በምታሽር ጊዜ ፣ ሙታንንም በፈቃዴ ( ከመቃብራቸው ) በምታወጣ ጊዜ ፣ የእስራኤልንም ልጆች በተአምራት በመጣህባቸውና ከእነሱ እነዚያ የካዱት ይህ ግልጽ ድግምት እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ባሉ ጊዜ ፣ ( ሊገድሉህ ሲያስቡህ ) ከአንተ ላይ በከለከልኩልህም ጊዜ ( ያደረግሁልህን ውለታ አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ »
