በመልካሚቱም ( እምነት ) ያረጋገጠ ፤

and those who believe the day of judgement to be true .
እነዚያም በፍርዱ ቀን እውነት የሚሉት ( የሚያረጋግጡት ) ፡ ፡

neither did he believe it to be true , nor did he offer the prayer .
አላመነምም አልሰገደምም ፡ ፡

i paul have written it with mine own hand, i will repay it: albeit i do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
እኔ ጳውሎስ። እኔ እመልሰዋለሁ ብዬ በእጄ እጽፋለሁ፤ ከዚህም በላይ ለእኔ የራስህ ደግሞ ብድር እንዳለብህ አልልህም።

iblis found his estimate of them to be true , and they followed him , except a party of the believers .
ኢብሊስም በእነርሱ ላይ ምኞቱን በእርግጥ ፈጸመ ፤ ከአመኑትም የሆኑት ጭፍሮች በስተቀር ተከተሉት ፡ ፡

thus iblis found his supposition about them to be true ; and except for a section of believers they follow him .
ኢብሊስም በእነርሱ ላይ ምኞቱን በእርግጥ ፈጸመ ፤ ከአመኑትም የሆኑት ጭፍሮች በስተቀር ተከተሉት ፡ ፡

read your book ; your own self is sufficient as a reckoner against you this day .
« መጽሐፍህን አንብብ ፡ ፡ ዛሬ ባንተ ላይ ተቆጣጣሪነት በነፍስህ በቃ » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

and why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
በወንድምህም ዓይን ያለውን ጉድፍ ስለ ምን ታያለህ፥ በራስህ ዓይን ግን ያለውን ምሰሶ ስለ ምን አትመለከትም?

that he might prove the truth to be true and the false to be false , however averse the evil-doers might be to it .
( ይህንንም ያደረገው ) አጋሪዎቹ ቢጠሉም እውነቱን ሊያረጋግጥ ክህደትንም ሊያጠፋ ነው ፡ ፡

pilate answered, am i a jew? thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?
ጲላጦስ መልሶ። እኔ አይሁዳዊ ነኝን? ወገኖችህና የካህናት አለቆች ለእኔ አሳልፈው ሰጡህ፤ ምን አድርገሃል? አለው።

obedience and modest speech ( would have been more becoming ) . and when the matter has been determined it is best for them to be true to god .
ታዛዥነትና መልካም ንግግር ( ይሻላቸዋል ) ትዕዛዙም ቁርጥ በኾነ ጊዜ ለአላህ ( ትዕዛዝ ) እውነተኞች በኾኑ ኖሮ ለእነርሱ የተሻለ በኾነ ነበር ፡ ፡

i would rather thou shouldst bear the punishment of the sin against me and thine own sin and become one of the owners of the fire . that is the reward of evil-doers .
« እኔ በኃጢአቴና በኃጢአትህ ልትመለስና ከእሳት ጓዶች ልትኾን እሻለሁ ፤ ይኽም የበደለኞች ቅጣት ነው » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

whenever our clear revelations are recited to them , their only argument is to say , " bring back to us our forefathers , if what you say be true . "
አንቀጾቻችንም ግልጾች ኾነው በእነርሱ ላይ በተነበቡላቸው ጊዜ ክርክራቸው « እውነተኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ አባቶቻችንን አምጡ » ማለት እንጅ ሌላ አልነበረም ፡ ፡

( it will be said to him : ) " read thine ( own ) record : sufficient is thy soul this day to make out an account against thee . "
« መጽሐፍህን አንብብ ፡ ፡ ዛሬ ባንተ ላይ ተቆጣጣሪነት በነፍስህ በቃ » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

and the fifth time she invokes allah 's wrath upon herself , if he be true ( in his charge ) .
አምስተኛይቱም እርሱ ከውነተኞች ቢኾን በእርስዋ ላይ የአላህ ቁጣ ይኑርባት ( ብላ መመስከርዋ ) ነው ፡ ፡

and the companions of paradise will call out to the companions of the fire , " we have already found what our lord promised us to be true . have you found what your lord promised to be true ? "
የገነትም ሰዎች የእሳትን ሰዎች « ጌታችን ቃል የገባልንን እውነት ኾኖ አገኘን ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁ የዛተባችሁንስ እውነት ኾኖ አገኛችሁትን » ሲሉ ይጣራሉ ፡ ፡ « አዎን አገኘን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ በመካከላቸውም « የአላህ ርግማን በበደለኞች ላይ ይኹን » ሲል ለፋፊ ይለፍፋል ፡ ፡

and the inmates of paradise will call to the residents of hell : " we have found that the promise made to us by our lord was true . have you also found the promise of your lord to be true ? "
የገነትም ሰዎች የእሳትን ሰዎች « ጌታችን ቃል የገባልንን እውነት ኾኖ አገኘን ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁ የዛተባችሁንስ እውነት ኾኖ አገኛችሁትን » ሲሉ ይጣራሉ ፡ ፡ « አዎን አገኘን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ በመካከላቸውም « የአላህ ርግማን በበደለኞች ላይ ይኹን » ሲል ለፋፊ ይለፍፋል ፡ ፡

and the dwellers of the garden will call out to the inmates of the fire : surely we have found what our lord promised us to be true ; have you too found what your lord promised to be true ? they will say : yes .
የገነትም ሰዎች የእሳትን ሰዎች « ጌታችን ቃል የገባልንን እውነት ኾኖ አገኘን ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁ የዛተባችሁንስ እውነት ኾኖ አገኛችሁትን » ሲሉ ይጣራሉ ፡ ፡ « አዎን አገኘን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ በመካከላቸውም « የአላህ ርግማን በበደለኞች ላይ ይኹን » ሲል ለፋፊ ይለፍፋል ፡ ፡

he said : verily i wish i would marry thee to one of these two daughters of mine provided that thou hirest thyself to me for eight years. then if thou completest ten it will de of thine own accord , and i would not make it hard for thee ; thou shalt find me , allah willing , of the righteous .
« ስምንትን ዓመታት ልታገለግለኝ እኔ ከእነዚህ ሁለት ሴቶቸ ልጆቼ አንዲቱን ላጋባህ እሻለሁ ፡ ፡ ዐስርን ብትሞላም ከአንተ ነው ፡ ፡ ባንተ ላይ ማስቸገርንም አልሻም ፡ ፡ አላህ የሻ እንደ ኾነ ከመልካሞቹ ሰዎች ኾኜ ታገኘኛለህ » አለው ፡ ፡

" nor do i absolve my own self ( of blame ) : the ( human ) soul is certainly prone to evil , unless my lord do bestow his mercy : but surely my lord is oft-forgiving , most merciful . "
« ነፍሴንም ( ከስሕተት ) አላጠራም ፡ ፡ ነፍስ ሁሉ ጌታዬ የጠበቃት ካልሆነች በስተቀር በመጥፎ ነገር በእርግጥ አዛዥ ናትና ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ በጣም መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡
