they have aroused our wrath ,
« እነርሱም ለእኛ አስቆጪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

who have certainly provoked our wrath .

nor could any of you withhold him ( from our wrath ) .
ከእናንተም ውስጥ ከእርሱ ላይ ከልካዮች ምንም አይኖሩም ፡ ፡

" we only fear a day of distressful wrath from the side of our lord . "
« እኛ ( ፊትን ) የሚያጨፈግግን ብርቱ ቀን ከጌታችን እንፈራለንና ፤ » ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and assuredly those before them belied ; then what wise hath been my wrath !
እነዚያም ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት በእርግጥ አስተባበሉ ፡ ፡ ጥላቻዬም እንዴት ነበር !

and the fifth that allah 's wrath be upon her if he is of the truthtellers .
አምስተኛይቱም እርሱ ከውነተኞች ቢኾን በእርስዋ ላይ የአላህ ቁጣ ይኑርባት ( ብላ መመስከርዋ ) ነው ፡ ፡

and on the fifth time the wrath of allah shall be upon her if he is of the truthful .
አምስተኛይቱም እርሱ ከውነተኞች ቢኾን በእርስዋ ላይ የአላህ ቁጣ ይኑርባት ( ብላ መመስከርዋ ) ነው ፡ ፡

and , a fifth time that god 's wrath will be upon her if he is telling the truth .
አምስተኛይቱም እርሱ ከውነተኞች ቢኾን በእርስዋ ላይ የአላህ ቁጣ ይኑርባት ( ብላ መመስከርዋ ) ነው ፡ ፡

and a fifth ( time ) that the wrath of allah be upon her if he speaketh truth .
አምስተኛይቱም እርሱ ከውነተኞች ቢኾን በእርስዋ ላይ የአላህ ቁጣ ይኑርባት ( ብላ መመስከርዋ ) ነው ፡ ፡

and the fifth ( time ) that the wrath of allah be on her if he is one of the truthful .
አምስተኛይቱም እርሱ ከውነተኞች ቢኾን በእርስዋ ላይ የአላህ ቁጣ ይኑርባት ( ብላ መመስከርዋ ) ነው ፡ ፡

and a fifth [ oath ] that allah s ’ wrath shall be upon him if he were lying .
አምስተኛይቱም ከውሸታሞች ቢኾን በእርሱ ላይ የአላህ እርግማን ይኑርበት ( ብሎ መመስከር ) ነው ፡ ፡

and allah repulsed the disbelievers in their wrath ; they gained no good . allah averted their attack from the believers .
እነዚያንም የካዱትን በቁጭታቸው የተመሉ መልካምን ነገር ያላገኙ ሆነው አላህ መለሳቸው ፡ ፡ አማኞቹንም አላህ መጋደልን በቃቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም ብርቱ አሸናፊ ነው ፡ ፡

( it is ) the fire of ( the wrath of ) allah kindled ( to a blaze ) ,
የተነደደችው የአላህ እሳት ናት ፡ ፡

' and those who strive against our signs to void them -- theirs shall be a chastisement of painful wrath . '
እነዚያም የሚያመልጡ መስሏቸው አንቀጾቻችንን ለማፍረስ የጣሩ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ ከመጥፎ ቅጣት የኾነ አሳማሚ ስቃይ አላቸው ፡ ፡

( of just such wrath ) as we sent down on those who divided ( scripture into arbitrary parts ) , -
( ሰዎችን ለማገድ የመካን በሮች ) በተከፋፈሉት ላይ እንደ አወረድነው ( በኾነ ቅጣት አሰፈራሪያችሁ ነኝ በል ) ፡ ፡

those who say , " our lord ! avert from us the wrath of hell , for its wrath is indeed an affliction grievous , -
እነዚያም « ጌታችን ሆይ ! የገሀነምን ቅጣት ከእኛ ላይ መልስልን ቅጣቷ የማይለቅ ነውና » የሚሉት ናቸው ፡ ፡

( the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath , ) " then , he will realize that it is time to leave this world .
( ሕመምተኛው ) እርሱ ( የሰፈረበት ነገር ከዚህ ዓለም ) መልለየት መኾኑን ባረጋገጠም ጊዜ ፡ ፡

if but a breath of the wrath of thy lord do touch them , they will then say , " woe to us ! we did wrong indeed ! "
ከጌታህ ቅጣትም ወላፈን ብትነካቸው « ዋ ጥፋታችን ! እኛ በዳዮች ነበርን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡
