ከእነርሱም ( ክርክር ) ዘወር በል ፤ ( ተዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ አንተ ምንም ተወቃሽ አይደለህምና ፡ ፡

so turn away from them ; you are not to blame .
ከእነርሱም ( ክርክር ) ዘወር በል ፤ ( ተዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ አንተ ምንም ተወቃሽ አይደለህምና ፡ ፡

though you are not to blame if he would not cleanse himself .
ባይጥራራ ( ባያምን ) ባንተ ላይ ምንም የሌለብህ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame ;
ከእነርሱም ( ክርክር ) ዘወር በል ፤ ( ተዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ አንተ ምንም ተወቃሽ አይደለህምና ፡ ፡

then why do you not , if you are not to be recompensed ,
የማትዳኙም ከኾናችሁ ፡ ፡

though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself --
ባይጥራራ ( ባያምን ) ባንተ ላይ ምንም የሌለብህ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

so why is it not , that if you are not to be repaid , –
የማትዳኙም ከኾናችሁ ፡ ፡

it is we who ordained death upon you and we are not to be frustrated .
እኛ ሞትን ( ጊዜውን ) በመካከላችሁ ወሰንን ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

though it is not your concern if he should not grow ( in fulness ) .
ባይጥራራ ( ባያምን ) ባንተ ላይ ምንም የሌለብህ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

believers are not to take disbelievers for friends instead of believers . whoever does that has nothing to do with god , unless it is to protect your own selves against them .
ምእምናን ከሓዲዎችን ከምእምናን ሌላ ረዳቶች አድርገው አይያዙ ፡ ፡ ይኼንንም የሚሠራ ሰው ከአላህ ( ሃይማኖት ) በምንም ውስጥ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱ መጥጠበቅን ብትጠበቁ እንጂ ፡ ፡ አላህም ነፍሱን ( ቁጣውን ) ያስጠነቅቃችኋል ፡ ፡ መመለሻም ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

those of you who die and leave wives behind — a will shall provide their wives with support for a year , provided they do not leave . if they leave , you are not to blame for what they do with themselves , provided it is reasonable .
እነዚያ ከናንተ ውስጥ የሚሞቱ ሚስቶችንም የሚተዉ ፤ ለሚስቶቻቸው ( ከቤታቸው ) የማይወጡ ሲኾኑ ዓመት ድረስ መጠቀምን ኑዛዜን ( ይናዘዙ ) ፡ ፡ በፈቃዳቸው ቢወጡም በሕግ ከታወቀው ነገር በነፍሶቻቸው በሠሩት በእናንተ ( በሟቹ ዘመዶች ) ላይ ኃጢኣት የለባችሁም አላህም አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , it is not your concern whether he forgives them or punishes them for they are unjust .
( አላህ ) በእነርሱ ላይ ይቅርታ እስኪያደርግ ወይም እነርሱ በዳዮች ናቸውና እስኪቀጣቸው ድረስ ላንተ ከነገሩ ምንም የለህም ፡ ፡

it is not your desires , nor the desires of the people of the book , that shall prevail . anyone who commits evil will be rewarded accordingly .
( ነገሩ ) በምኞታችሁና በመጽሐፉ ሰዎች ምኞት አይደለም ፡ ፡ መጥፎን የሚሠራ ሰው በእርሱ ይቀጣል ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ከአላህ ሌላ ጠባቂንም ረዳትንም አያገኝም ፡ ፡

in the same way, it is not a matter of being in the same way that the people who are in the world are not in a good way.

indeed we have sent down the book to you with the truth for [ the deliverance of ] mankind . so whoever is guided is guided for his own sake , and whoever goes astray , goes astray to his own detriment , and it is not your duty to watch over them .
እኛ መጽሐፉን ባንተ ላይ ለሰዎች ( ጥቅም ) በእውነት አወረድነው ፡ ፡ የተመራም ሰው ለነፍሱ ነው ፡ ፡ የጠመመም ሰው የሚጠምመው ( ጉዳቱ ) በእርሷ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡ አንተም ( ታስገድዳቸው ዘንድ ) በእነርሱ ላይ ጠባቂ አይደለህም ፡ ፡

( some of ) your people have rejected the quran , although it is the truth . tell them that you are not their guardian
በእርሱም ( በቁርኣን ) እሱ እውነት ሲኾን ሕዝቦችህ አስተባበሉ ፡ ፡ በላቸው ፡ - « በናንተ ላይ ጠባቂ አይደለሁም ፡ ፡ »

and when our signs are recited to them , clear signs , those who look not to encounter us say , ' bring a koran other than this , or alter it . ' say : ' it is not for me to alter it of my own accord .
አንቀጾቻችንም ግልጽ ኾነው በእነርሱ ላይ በተነበቡላቸው ጊዜ እነዚያ መገናኘታችንን የማይፈሩት ከዚህ ሌላ የሆነን ቁርኣን አምጣልን ወይም ለውጠው ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እኔ ከራሴ በኩል ልለውጠው አይገባኝም ፡ ፡ ወደእኔ የሚወርደውን እንጂ አልከተልም ፡ ፡ እኔ ከጌታዬ ባምጽ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ በላቸው ፡ ፡

it is not your wealth and children that will bring you closer to us , except those who believe and do the right . these will be given a two-fold reward for their deeds , and will dwell in peace in the high empyrean .
ገንዘቦቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁም ያች እኛ ዘንድ መቅረብን የምታቀርባችሁ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ ያመነና መልካምን የሠራ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ በሠሩት መልካም ሥራ እጥፍ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በገነት ሰገነቶች ውስጥ ጸጥተኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡

it is not your wealth nor your children that shall bring you nigh in nearness to us , except for him who believes , and does righteousness ; those -- there awaits them the double recompense for that they did , and they shall be in the lofty chambers in security .
ገንዘቦቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁም ያች እኛ ዘንድ መቅረብን የምታቀርባችሁ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ ያመነና መልካምን የሠራ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ በሠሩት መልካም ሥራ እጥፍ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በገነት ሰገነቶች ውስጥ ጸጥተኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and it is not your riches nor your children that shall draw you nigh unto us with a near approach , but whoso ever believeth and worketh righteously- then those ! theirs shall be a twofold meed for that which they will have worked , and they will be in upper apartments secure .
ገንዘቦቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁም ያች እኛ ዘንድ መቅረብን የምታቀርባችሁ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ ያመነና መልካምን የሠራ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ለእነርሱ በሠሩት መልካም ሥራ እጥፍ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በገነት ሰገነቶች ውስጥ ጸጥተኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡
