መቅደምንም ቀዳሚዎች በኾኑት ፤

i'm glad we got to know each other.
የት ሀገር ነው ያለሽው እኔ ኢትዮጲያ

ሁለቱን ባሕሮች የሚገናኙ ሲኾኑ ለቀቃቸው ፡ ፡

የሚወቃቀሱም ኾነው ከፊሎቻቸው በከፊሉ ላይ መጡ ፡ ፡

( ከመጣደፍ ) ተከልከል ፡ ፡ ይልቁንም ( ሰዎች ) ፈጣኒቱን ( ዓለም ) ትወዳላችሁ ፡ ፡

and some of them shall advance towards others questioning each other .
የሚጠያየቁ ኾነውም ከፊላቸው በከፊሉ ላይ ይዞራል ፡ ፡

and some of them shall advance towards others , questioning each other .
የሚወቃቀሱም ሆነው ከፊላቸው በከፊሉ ላይ ይመጣሉ ፡ ፡

no ! indeed , you love this transitory life
( ከመጣደፍ ) ተከልከል ፡ ፡ ይልቁንም ( ሰዎች ) ፈጣኒቱን ( ዓለም ) ትወዳላችሁ ፡ ፡

except each other 's greetings of , " peace be with you " .
ግን ሰላም መባባልን ( ይሰማሉ ) ፡ ፡

dressed in fine silk and ( also ) in thick silk , facing each other ,
ፊት ለፊት የተቅጣጩ ኾነው ከስስ ሐርና ከወፍራም ሐር ይለብሳሉ ፡ ፡
