you will indeed eat from the zaqqum tree .
« ከዘቁም ዛፍ በእርግጥ በይዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

ye verily will eat of a tree called zaqqum
« ከዘቁም ዛፍ በእርግጥ በይዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

shall all eat from the tree of al-zaqqum ,
« ከዘቁም ዛፍ በእርግጥ በይዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

" ye will surely taste of the tree of zaqqum .
« ከዘቁም ዛፍ በእርግጥ በይዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

is that the better entertainment or the tree of zaqqum ?
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

is that better by way of hospitality or the zaqqum tree ,
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

is paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum ?
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

is this better as a welcome , or the tree of zaqqum ?
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-zaqqum ?
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

( zaqqum ) is a tree which grows from the deepest part of hell ,
እርሷ በገሀነም አዘቅት ውስጥ የምትወጣ ዛፍ ናት ፡ ፡

is that ( paradise ) better entertainment or the tree of zaqqum ( a horrible tree in hell ) ?
በመስተንግዶነት ይህ ይበልጣልን ? ወይስ የዘቁም ዛፍ ?

then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture ( of boiling water and zaqqum in their bellies ) .
ከዚያም ለእነርሱ በእርሷ ላይ ከተኳሳ ውሃ ቅልቅል ( መጠጥ ) አልላቸው ፡ ፡

and we made not the vision which we showed you ( o muhammad as an actual eye-witness and not as a dream on the night of al-isra ' ) but a trial for mankind , and likewise the accursed tree ( zaqqum , mentioned ) in the quran . we warn and make them afraid but it only increases them in naught save great disbelief , oppression and disobedience to allah .
ላንተም ጌታህ ( ዕውቀቱ ) በሰዎቹ ከበበ ባልንህ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ ያችንም ( በሌሊቱ ጉዞ በዓይንህ ) ያሳየንህን ትርዕይት ለሰዎች ፈተና እንጂ አላደረግናትም ፡ ፡ በቁርኣንም የተረገመችውን ዛፍ ( እንደዚሁ ፈተና እንጂ አላደረግንም ) ፡ ፡ እናስፈራራቸዋለንም ፤ ታላቅንም ጥመት እንጂ አይጨምርላቸውም ፡ ፡
