when allah will say , “ o eisa , the son of maryam ! remember my favour upon you and your mother ; when i supported you with the holy spirit ; you were speaking to people from the cradle and in maturity ; and when i taught you the book and wisdom and the taurat and the injeel ; and when you used to mould a birdlike sculpture from clay , by my command , and blow into it – so it ( the living bird ) used to fly by my command , and you used to cure him who was born blind and cure the leper , by my command ; and when you used to raise up the dead , by my command ; and when i restrained the descendants of israel against you when you came to them with clear proofs , and the disbelievers among them said , ‘ this is nothing but clear magic ’ . ”
তখন আল ্ লাহ ্ বলবেন -- ''হে মরিয়ম-পুত্র ঈসা! তোমার প্রতি ও তোমার মাতার প্রতি আমার অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ করো। স্মরণ করো! কেমন ক’রে তোমাকে আমি 'রূহুল ক্কুদুস’ দিয়ে বলীয়ান করেছিলাম, তুমি লোকদের সঙ্গে কথা বলেছিলে দোলনায় থাকাকালে ও বার্ধক্যকালে, আর স্মরণ করো! কেমন ক’রে তোমাকে শিখিয়েছিলাম কিতাব ও জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞান, আর তওরাত ও ইনজীল, আর স্মরণ করো! কেমন করে তুমি মাটি দিয়ে তৈরি করতে পাখির মতো মূর্তি আমার অনুমতিক্রমে, তারপর তুমি তাতে ফুৎকার দিতে, তখন তা পাখি হয়ে যেত আমার অনুমতিক্রমে, আর তুমি আরোগ্য করতে জন্মান্ধকে ও কুষ্ঠরোগীকে আমার অনুমতিক্রমে, আর স্মরণ করো! কেমন ক’রে তুমি মৃতকে বের করতে আমার অনুমতিক্রমে, আর স্মরণ করো! কেমন ক’রে আমি ইসরাইলবংশীয় লোকদের নিবৃত্ত রেখেছিলাম তোমা থেকে যখন তুমি তাদের কাছে এসেছিলে স্পস্প্রমাণাবলী নিয়ে।’’ কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যের যারা অবিশ্বাস পোষণ করেছিল তারা বলেছিল -- ''এ স্পষ্ট জাদু ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়।’’
