আর যাদের জ ্ ঞান ও বিশ ্ বাস দেওয়া হয়েছে তারা বলবে -- ''তোমরা তো আল্লাহ্‌র বিধান অনুসারে অবস্থান করেছিলে পুনরুত্থানের দিন পর্যন্ত, -- সেজন্য এই-ই হচ্ছে পুনরুত্থানের দিন, কিন্তু তোমরা না-জানা অবস্থায় রয়েছ।’’

and you did not veil yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should bear witness against you , but you thought that allah did not know most of what you did .
আর তোমাদের কান তোমাদের বিরুদ ্ ধে সাক ্ ষ ্ য দেবার ব ্ যাপারে তোমরা কিছুই গোপন রাখতে না , আর তোমাদের চোখের থেকেও নয় , আর তোমাদের ছাল-চামড়া থেকেও নয় , উপরন ্ তু তোমরা মনে করতে যে তোমরা যা করেছিলে তার অধিকাংশই আল ্ লাহ ্ জানেন না ।

but those who were given knowledge and faith will say , ‘ certainly you remained in allah s book ’ until the day of resurrection . this is the day of resurrection , but you did not know . ’
আর যাদের জ ্ ঞান ও বিশ ্ বাস দেওয়া হয়েছে তারা বলবে -- ''তোমরা তো আল্লাহ্‌র বিধান অনুসারে অবস্থান করেছিলে পুনরুত্থানের দিন পর্যন্ত, -- সেজন্য এই-ই হচ্ছে পুনরুত্থানের দিন, কিন্তু তোমরা না-জানা অবস্থায় রয়েছ।’’

but those who have been given knowledge and faith shall say , ' you have tarried in god 's book till the day of the upraising , this is the day of the upraising , but you did not know . '
আর যাদের জ ্ ঞান ও বিশ ্ বাস দেওয়া হয়েছে তারা বলবে -- ''তোমরা তো আল্লাহ্‌র বিধান অনুসারে অবস্থান করেছিলে পুনরুত্থানের দিন পর্যন্ত, -- সেজন্য এই-ই হচ্ছে পুনরুত্থানের দিন, কিন্তু তোমরা না-জানা অবস্থায় রয়েছ।’’

but those who were given knowledge and faith will say , " you remained the extent of allah ' s decree until the day of resurrection , and this is the day of resurrection , but you did not used to know . "
আর যাদের জ ্ ঞান ও বিশ ্ বাস দেওয়া হয়েছে তারা বলবে -- ''তোমরা তো আল্লাহ্‌র বিধান অনুসারে অবস্থান করেছিলে পুনরুত্থানের দিন পর্যন্ত, -- সেজন্য এই-ই হচ্ছে পুনরুত্থানের দিন, কিন্তু তোমরা না-জানা অবস্থায় রয়েছ।’’

those who have received knowledge and have faith will say , " by the decree of god , you have remained for the exact period which was mentioned in the book of god about the day of resurrection . this is the day of resurrection , but you did not know . "
আর যাদের জ ্ ঞান ও বিশ ্ বাস দেওয়া হয়েছে তারা বলবে -- ''তোমরা তো আল্লাহ্‌র বিধান অনুসারে অবস্থান করেছিলে পুনরুত্থানের দিন পর্যন্ত, -- সেজন্য এই-ই হচ্ছে পুনরুত্থানের দিন, কিন্তু তোমরা না-জানা অবস্থায় রয়েছ।’’

you did not use to conceal yourselves [ while perpetrating sinful acts ] lest your hearing , your eyes , or your skins should bear witness against you , but you thought that allah did not know most of what you did .
আর তোমাদের কান তোমাদের বিরুদ ্ ধে সাক ্ ষ ্ য দেবার ব ্ যাপারে তোমরা কিছুই গোপন রাখতে না , আর তোমাদের চোখের থেকেও নয় , আর তোমাদের ছাল-চামড়া থেকেও নয় , উপরন ্ তু তোমরা মনে করতে যে তোমরা যা করেছিলে তার অধিকাংশই আল ্ লাহ ্ জানেন না ।

joseph had indeed come to you before with clear proofs , but you did not cease to doubt what he had brought until he died , when you said : ' god will not send a prophet after him . ' that is how god leads the waster , the sceptic astray .
