তারা বলল ু তুমি তো জানই , তোমার কন ্ যাদের নিয়ে আমাদের কোন গরজ নেই । আর আমরা কি চাই , তাও তুমি অবশ ্ যই জান ।

তাদেরকে উপস্থাপন করতে গিয়ে আমি আরো ভীষণভাবে উপলব্ধি করি যে যা করছি তা সঠিকই আছে।

and indeed we have created man , and we know what his ownself whispers to him . and we are nearer to him than his jugular vein ( by our knowledge ) .

they said , “ you know that we have no right to the daughters of your tribe ; and you obviously know what we desire . ”
তারা বলল ু তুমি তো জানই , তোমার কন ্ যাদের নিয়ে আমাদের কোন গরজ নেই । আর আমরা কি চাই , তাও তুমি অবশ ্ যই জান ।

" o our lord ! truly thou dost know what we conceal and what we reveal : for nothing whatever is hidden from allah , whether on earth or in heaven .
''আমাদের প্রভু! তুমি নিশ্চয় জান যা আমরা গোপন করি ও যা আমরা প্রকাশ করি। আর আল্লাহ্‌র কাছে পৃথিবীতে কোনো কিছুই লুকোনো নেই আর মহাকাশেও নয়।

সে জানায়, মালিকরা হলো পিচ্ছিল মাছের মতো। তাই পিচ্ছিল মাছকে কীভাবে ধরতে হয়, সেটা আমরা সবাই জানি।

allah 's promise is the truth , and there is no doubt of the hour 's coming , ye said : we know not what the hour is . we deem it naught but a conjecture , and we are by no means convinced .
''আর যখন বলা হয় -- 'নিঃসন্দেহ আল্লাহ্‌র ওয়াদা সত্য, আর ঘড়িঘন্টা -- এতে কোনো সন্দেহ নেই’, তোমরা তখন বলে থাক -- 'আমরা জানি না কী সেই ঘড়ি, আমরা বিবেচনা করি কাল্পনিক বৈ তো নয়, আর আমরা আদে সুনিশ্চিত নই’ ।’’

and when it was said ; verily allah 's promise is , true , and the hour ! there is no doubt thereof , ye said : we know not what the hour is , we imagine it naught but an opinion , and we are not convinced .
''আর যখন বলা হয় -- 'নিঃসন্দেহ আল্লাহ্‌র ওয়াদা সত্য, আর ঘড়িঘন্টা -- এতে কোনো সন্দেহ নেই’, তোমরা তখন বলে থাক -- 'আমরা জানি না কী সেই ঘড়ি, আমরা বিবেচনা করি কাল্পনিক বৈ তো নয়, আর আমরা আদে সুনিশ্চিত নই’ ।’’
