တဖန် ထိုအရပ်မှ ဗေရရှေဘအရပ်သို့ ပြောင်း လေ၏။

but they constrained him, saying, abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. and he went in to tarry with them.
ထိုသူတို့က အကျွန်ုပ်တို့နှင့်အတူဝင်၍ နေပါ။ ညဦးယံအချိန်ရှိပြီ။ မိုဃ်းလည်းချုပ်ပါသည်ဟူ၍ ကိုယ် တော်ကို ကျပ်ကျပ်သွေးဆောင်ကြ၏။ ထိုကြောင့် သူတို့နှင့်အတူနေခြင်းငှါ ဝင်တော်မူ၏။

and he asked the scribes, what question ye with them?
ကိုယ်တော်ကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် သူတို့နှင့် အဘယ်သို့ဆွေးနွေးမေးမြန်းကြသနည်းဟု ကျမ်းပြုဆရာ တို့ကို မေးတော်မူလျှင်၊

and he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the lord. then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
သခင်ဘုရား၏နာမ၌ ဗတ္တိဇံကို ခံစေမည် အကြောင်းစီရင် လေ၏။ ထိုနောက်မှပေတရုသည် ကာလအတန်အရာနေပါမည် အကြောင်းကို ထိုသူတို့ သည် တောင်းပန်ကြ၏။

ထိုသို့နှုတ်ဆက်၍ ဝင်လေသော် စုဝေးလျက်ရှိ ကြသော လူများကိုတွေ့လျှင်၊

ထိုမြို့မှ ကရမေလတောင်သို့၎င်း၊ ထိုတောင်မှ ရှမာရိမြို့သို့၎င်း အစဉ်အတိုင်းသွား၏။

and as he spake, a certain pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.

ထိုအခါ ပြည်သားတယောက်ထံသို့သွား၍ အစေခံလျှင်၊ ဝက်တို့ကို ကျောင်းစေခြင်းငှါ သူ့သခင်သည် တောသို့ စေလွှတ်သဖြင့်၊

ရုတ်တရက်ထ၍ မတ်တပ်ရပ်ပြီးလျှင် လှမ်းသွားလေ၏။ သွားလျက်၊ ခုန်လျက်၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်၊ တမန်တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ဗိမာန်တော်သို့ဝင်လေ၏။
