ဤအရာကားပရောဖက်ယောလဟောဘူးသောအရာ ဖြစ်သတည်း။

But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
သို့သော်လည်းငါ့ကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူထသော၊ ညဉ့်အချိန်၌ သီချင်းဆိုရသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူထ သော၊

But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?
သို့ရာတွင်၊ ပညာကိုအဘယ်မှာ တွေ့ရလိမ့်မည် နည်း။ ဥာဏ်သည်လည်း အဘယ်အရပ်၌ နေသနည်း။

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
သူတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိ သနည်းဟု တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုရကြမည်နည်း။

Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.
လူများကလည်း၊ ထိုသူသည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်းဟု မေးမြန်းကြလျှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်မသိဟုဆို၏။

သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ပညာသည် အဘယ်က လာသနည်း။ ဥာဏ်သည် အဘယ်ဆီမှာ နေရာကျသနည်း။

And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?
သို့ဖြစ်၍ အဘယ်သို့ ငါမြော်လင့်ရသနည်း။ ငါမြော်လင့်စရာအကြောင်းကို အဘယ်သူမြင်ရသနည်း။

Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the LORD? let it come now.
ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။ ယခုလာပါစေတော့ဟု ဤသူတို့ သည် အကျွန်ုပ်အား ဆိုတတ်ကြပါ၏။

He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
စားစရာကို ရှာ၍လှည့်လည်ရ၏။ မိမိအဘို့ မှောင်မိုက်ကာလသည် အသင့်ရှိသည်ကို သိ၏။

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
သခင်ဘုရားဟုဆိုသော် ဝိညာဉ်တော်တရားကို ဆိုလိုသတည်း။ သခင်ဘုရား၏ ဝိညာဉ်တော်တရားသည် လွှတ်ခြင်းချမ်းသာကို ပေးတတ်၏။

Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
ဆင်းရဲသား၊ လယ်လုပ်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် စားစရာ ပွါးများ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်၊ မတရားသော အမှုကြောင့် ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်တတ်၏။

Lift up your eyes, and behold them that come from the north: where is the flock that was given thee, thy beautiful flock?
မြောက်မျက်နှာကလာသော သူတို့ကို မျှော်၍ ကြည့်လော့။ သင့်အား ငါပေးသော သိုးစု၊ လှသောသိုးစု သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။

My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
သူတပါးတို့က၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်းဟု ငါ့ကိုအစဉ်ပြောဆိုကြသဖြင့်၊ ငါ့မျက်ရည်သည် နေ့ညဉ့်မပြတ် ငါစားစရာဖြစ်ရ၏။
