to, idan sun jũya bã ya sai ku ce: "ku yi shaida cẽwa, lalle ne mu masu sallamã wa ne."

he said: o chiefs! which of you will bring unto me her throne, ere they come unto me submitting themselves?
ya ce: "yã ku mashãwarta! wannenku zai zo mini da gadonta a gabãnin su zo, sunã mãsu sallamãwa?"

among us are those who are submitting, and among us are the compromisers. as for those who have submitted—it is they who pursue rectitude.

i swear by your lord that they will not be considered believers until they let you judge their disputes and then they will find nothing in their souls to prevent them from accepting your judgment, thus, submitting themselves to the will of god.
