"sabõda haka ku bi allah da taƙawa, kuma ku yi mini ɗã'ã."

therefor have i warned you of the flaming fire
sabõda haka, na yi maku gargaɗi da wuta mai babbaka.

and they denied him; therefor we destroyed them.
sabõda haka suka ƙaryata shi, sai muka halakar da sũ.

my earth is spacious. therefor serve me only.
lalle fa ƙasãta mai yalwã ce, sabãda haka ku bauta mini.

therefor believe; (it is) better for you.
sabõda haka ku yi ĩmãni yã fi zama alhẽri a gare ku.

therefor give good tidings (o muhammad) to my bondmen
to, ka bãyar da bushãra ga bãyina.

and they believed, therefor we gave them comfort for a while.
sai suka yi ĩmãni sabõda haka muka jiyar da su dãdi har wani lõkaci.

lo! they were folk of evil, therefor did we drown them all.
lalle ne sũ, sun kasance mutãnen mugun aiki. sai muka nutsar da su gabã ɗaya.

not one of them but did deny the messengers, therefor my doom was justified,
bãbu kõwa a cikinsu fãce ya ƙaryata manzanni, sabõda haka azãbãta ta wajaba.

and we have not destroyed a town but there was therefor a decree known.
kuma ba mu halakar da wata alƙarya ba fãce tanã da littafi sananne.

musa said: hadst thou willed, thou mightest have taken therefor a hire.
(mũsã) ya ce: "dã kã so, lalle ne dã kã karɓi ijãra a kansa."

and ask of you no hire therefor; and my hire is but with the lord of the worlds.
"kuma ba ni tambayar ku wata ijãra a kansa. ijãrata ba ta zama ba fãce daga ubangijin halittu."

therefor their works are vain, and on the day of resurrection we assign no weight to them.
sabõda haka bã zã mu tsayar musu da awo ba a rãnar ¡iyãma.
