ये कि तुम ख़ुदा के सिवा किसी की परसतिश न करो मैं तुम पर एक दर्दनाक दिन के अज़ाब से डराता हूँ

o ye who believe ! shall direct you to a merchandise that will deliver you from a torment afflictive ?
ऐ ईमानदारों क्या मैं नहीं ऐसी तिजारत बता दूँ जो तुमको दर्दनाक अज़ाब से निजात दे

and that those who believe not in the hereafter - - for them we have gotten ready a torment afflictive .
और ये भी कि बेशक जो लोग आख़िरत पर ईमान नहीं रखते हैं उनके लिए हमने दर्दनाक अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है

and those who endeavoured to frustrate our signs - those ! theirs shall be a torment of afflictive calamity .
और जिन लोगों ने हमारी आयतों में मुक़ाबिले की दौड़ - धूप की उन ही के लिए दर्दनाक अज़ाब की सज़ा होगी

naught is said unto thee save that which was said unto the apostles afore thee . verily thy lord is owner of forgiveness and owner of afflictive chastisement .
तुमसे से भी बस वही बातें कहीं जाती हैं जो तुमसे और रसूलों से कही जा चुकी हैं बेशक तुम्हारा परवरदिगार बख्शने वाला भी है और दर्दनाक अज़ाब वाला भी है

verily those who believe not in the signs of allah--allah shall not guide them, and unto them shall be a torment afflictive.
सच्ची बात यह है कि जो लोग अल्लाह की आयतों को नहीं मानते, अल्लाह उनका मार्गदर्शन नहीं करता। उनके लिए तो एक दुखद यातना है

and even such is the overtaking of thy lord when he overtaketh the cities while they are wrong - doers ; verily his overtaking is afflictive , severe .
और बस्तियों के लोगों की सरकशी से जब तुम्हारा परवरदिगार अज़ाब में पकड़ता है तो उसकी पकड़ ऐसी ही होती है बेशक पकड़ तो दर्दनाक होती है

o our people ! answer allah ' s summoner and believe in him ; he shall forgive you your sins and shall shelter you from a torment afflictive .
ऐ हमारी क़ौम ख़ुदा की तरफ बुलाने वाले की बात मानों और ख़ुदा पर ईमान लाओ वह तुम्हारे गुनाह बख्श देगा और में तुम्हें दर्दनाक अज़ाब से पनाह में रखेगा
