all unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
सब प्रकार का अधर्म तो पाप है, परन्तु ऐसा पाप भी है, जिस का फल मृत्यु नहीं।।

for her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
उसका घर मृत्यु की ढलान पर है, और उसी डगरें मरे हुओं के बीच पहुंचाती हैं;

the lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
परमेश्वर ने मेरी बड़ी ताड़ना तो की है परन्तु मुझे मृत्यु के वश में नहीं किया।।

and the commandment, which was ordained to life, i found to be unto death.
और वही आज्ञा जो जीवन के लिये थी; मेरे लिये मृत्यु का कारण ठहरी।

for this god is our god for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
क्योंकि वह परमेश्वर सदा सर्वदा हमारा परमेश्वर है, वह मृत्यु तक हमारी अगुवाई करेगा।।

कि अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो और उसका डर रखो और मेरी आज्ञा मानो । -

लेकिन उन्होंने बहुत ज्यादा गुल गपाडा मचाया और एक वरिष्ठ सदस्य ने कहा कि वे आमरण अनशन करेंगे ।

क्योंकि वही मसीह के काम के लिये अपने प्राणों पर जोखिम उठाकर मरने के निकट हो गया था, ताकि जो घटी तुम्हारी ओर से मेरी सेवा में हुई, उसे पूरा करे।।

परमेश्वर ने योना से कहा, तेरा क्रोध, जो रेंड़ के पेड़ के कारण भड़का है, क्या वह उचित है? उस ने कहा, हां, मेरा जो क्रोध भड़का है वह अच्छा ही है, वरन क्रोध के मारे मरना भी अच्छा होता।

कितनो के लिये तो मरने के निमित्त मृन्यु की गन्ध, और कितनो के लिये जीवन के निमित्त जीवन की सुगन्ध, और इन बातों के योग्य कौन है?

क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि जिस की आज्ञा मानने के लिये तुम अपने आप को दासों की नाईं सौंप देते हो, उसी के दास हो: और जिस की मानते हो, चाहे पाप के, जिस का अन्त मृत्यु है, चाहे आज्ञा मानने के, जिस का अन्त धार्मिकता है?

and abraham ! when he said unto his folk : serve allah , and keep your duty unto him ; that is better for you if ye did but know .
और इबराहीम को जब उन्होंने कहा कि ख़ुदा की इबादत करो और उससे डरो अगर तुम समझते बूझते हो तो यही तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है
