all unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
सब प्रकार का अधर्म तो पाप है, परन्तु ऐसा पाप भी है, जिस का फल मृत्यु नहीं।।

for her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
उसका घर मृत्यु की ढलान पर है, और उसी डगरें मरे हुओं के बीच पहुंचाती हैं;

the lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
परमेश्वर ने मेरी बड़ी ताड़ना तो की है परन्तु मुझे मृत्यु के वश में नहीं किया।।

and the commandment, which was ordained to life, i found to be unto death.
और वही आज्ञा जो जीवन के लिये थी; मेरे लिये मृत्यु का कारण ठहरी।

for this god is our god for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
क्योंकि वह परमेश्वर सदा सर्वदा हमारा परमेश्वर है, वह मृत्यु तक हमारी अगुवाई करेगा।।

: serve allah and keep your duty unto him and obey me ,
कि अल्लाह की बन्दगी करो और उसका डर रखो और मेरी आज्ञा मानो । -

but they made such a noise about it and one senior member said he would fast unto death .
लेकिन उन्होंने बहुत ज्यादा गुल गपाडा मचाया और एक वरिष्ठ सदस्य ने कहा कि वे आमरण अनशन करेंगे ।

and saith unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
और उन से कहा; मेरा मन बहुत उदास है, यहां तक कि मैं मरने पर हूं: तुम यहां ठहरो, और जागते रहो।

and when they are flung into a strait place thereof , bound up , they shall call therein unto death .
और जब ये लोग ज़ज़ीरों से जकड़कर उसकी किसी तंग जगह मे झोंक दिए जाएँगे तो उस वक्त मौत को पुकारेंगे

and keep your duty unto him who created you and the generations of the men of old.
और उस (ख़ुदा) से डरो जिसने तुम्हे और अगली ख़िलकत को पैदा किया

because for the work of christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.
क्योंकि वही मसीह के काम के लिये अपने प्राणों पर जोखिम उठाकर मरने के निकट हो गया था, ताकि जो घटी तुम्हारी ओर से मेरी सेवा में हुई, उसे पूरा करे।।

then saith he unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
तब उस ने उन से कहा; मेरा जी बहुत उदास है, यहां तक कि मेरे प्राण निकला चाहते: तुम यहीं ठहरो, और मेरे साथ जागते रहो।

and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
और मनुष्य के रूप में प्रगट होकर अपने आप को दीन किया, और यहां तक आज्ञाकारी रहा, कि मृत्यु, हां, क्रूस की मृत्यु भी सह ली।

and lo ! this your religion is one religion and i am your lord , so keep your duty unto me .
तुम सबका मज़हब एक ही मज़हब है और मै तुम लोगों का परवरदिगार हूँ

and god said to jonah, doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? and he said, i do well to be angry, even unto death.
परमेश्वर ने योना से कहा, तेरा क्रोध, जो रेंड़ के पेड़ के कारण भड़का है, क्या वह उचित है? उस ने कहा, हां, मेरा जो क्रोध भड़का है वह अच्छा ही है, वरन क्रोध के मारे मरना भी अच्छा होता।

to the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. and who is sufficient for these things?
कितनो के लिये तो मरने के निमित्त मृन्यु की गन्ध, और कितनो के लिये जीवन के निमित्त जीवन की सुगन्ध, और इन बातों के योग्य कौन है?

king parikshit heard about the curse given to him by sringi , the son of samika , abandoned all luxuries and enjoyments and entered the divine ganges to observe prayopavesa or fast unto death .
राजा परीक्षित ने शमीक के पुत्र श्रृंगि के द्वारा गए शाप का समाचार पाकर समस्त सांसारिक सुख - भोग त्याग दिए और आमरण अनशन या प्रायोपवेश के लिए गंगाजी में प्रवेश किया ।

for indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but god had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest i should have sorrow upon sorrow.
और निश्चय वह बीमार तो हो गया था, यहां तक कि मरने पर था, परन्तु परमेश्वर ने उस पर दया की; और केवल उस ही पर नहीं, पर मुझ पर भी, कि मुझे शोक पर शोक न हो।

know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि जिस की आज्ञा मानने के लिये तुम अपने आप को दासों की नाईं सौंप देते हो, उसी के दास हो: और जिस की मानते हो, चाहे पाप के, जिस का अन्त मृत्यु है, चाहे आज्ञा मानने के, जिस का अन्त धार्मिकता है?

and abraham ! when he said unto his folk : serve allah , and keep your duty unto him ; that is better for you if ye did but know .
और इबराहीम को जब उन्होंने कहा कि ख़ुदा की इबादत करो और उससे डरो अगर तुम समझते बूझते हो तो यही तुम्हारे हक़ में बेहतर है
