अंत में बिच्छु बनकर काटता है और साँप बनकर भी काटता है। शहरों में तो आजकल बिच्छु साँप देखने नहीं मिलते लेकिन ढेर सारे मच्छर मिलते हैं। छोटे-मोटे बैर बाँधे हों तो ऐसे डंक मारकर चले जाते हैं छोड़ते तो नहीं।

have they not regarded how we destroyed before them many a generation we established in the earth , as we never established you , and how we loosed heaven upon them in torrents , and made the rivers to flow beneath them ? then we destroyed them because of their sins , and raised up after them another generation ;
क्या उन्हें सूझता नहीं कि हमने उनसे पहले कितने गिरोह हलाक कर डाले जिनको हमने रुए ज़मीन मे वह क़ुदरत अता की थी जो अभी तक तुमको नहीं दी और हमने आसमान तो उन पर मूसलाधार पानी बरसता छोड़ दिया था और उनके नीचे बहती हुई नहरें बना दी थी फिर भी उनके गुनाहों की वजह से उनको मार डाला और उनके बाद एक दूसरे गिरोह को पैदा कर दिया

that which we have revealed to you is news of the unseen . this was not known to you and to your people . have patience . the pious will triumph in the end .
ये परोक्ष की ख़बरें हैं जिनकी हम तुम्हारी ओर प्रकाशना कर रहे है । इससे पहले तो न तुम्हें इनकी ख़बर थी और न तुम्हारी क़ौम को । अतः धैर्य से काम लो । निस्संदेह अन्तिम परिणाम डर रखनेवालो के पक्ष में है

तुम्हारे और काफ़िले के वास्ते दरियाई शिकार और उसका खाना तो तुम्हारे वास्ते जायज़ कर दिया है मगर खुश्की का शिकार जब तक तुम हालते एहराम में रहो तुम पर हराम है और उस ख़ुदा से डरते रहो जिसकी तरफ उठाए जाओगे

say , " god is sufficient as a witness between you and me . he knows all that is in the heavens and the earth . those who believe in falsehood and reject god will surely be the losers . "
तुम कह दो कि मेरे और तुम्हारे दरमियान गवाही के वास्ते ख़ुदा ही काफी है जो सारे आसमान व ज़मीन की चीज़ों को जानता है - और जिन लोगों ने बातिल को माना और ख़ुदा से इन्कार किया वही लोग बड़े घाटे में रहेंगे

but when he rescues them , they commit excesses in the land unjustly again . your rebellion , o people , shall recoil back on your own selves . the joys of the world : you have to come back to us in the end . we shall then inform you what you were doing .
फिर जब वह उनको बचा लेता है , तो क्या देखते है कि वे नाहक़ धरती में सरकशी करने लग जाते है । ऐ लोगों ! तुम्हारी सरकशी तुम्हारे अपने ही विरुद्ध है । सांसारिक जीवन का सुख ले लो । फिर तुम्हें हमारी ही ओर लौटकर आना है । फिर हम तुम्हें बता देंगे जो कुछ तुम करते रहे होगे
