did they not journey in the land that they may behold the end of those who had gone before them? they were more numerous and greater in strength and left behind more splendid traces in the land. yet their attainments did not avail them.
ئایا ئه‌وه به‌زه‌ویدا نه‌گه‌ڕاون تا ته‌ماشا بکه‌ن که چیمان به‌سه‌ر قه‌وم و خه‌ڵکانی پێش ئه‌ماندا هێناوه و سه‌رئه‌نجامیان چۆن بووه‌، ئه‌وانه زۆر له‌مان زیاتر بوون و هێزیان له‌مان زۆرتر بوو، شوێنه‌واریان له‌زه‌ویدا ئاشکراتربوو بێگومان ئه‌و کاروکرده‌وه نادروسته‌ی که ده‌یانکرد هیچ فریایان نه‌که‌وت و ڕزگاری نه‌کردن.

[and] that he may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds - and ever is that, in the sight of allah, a great attainment -
ئه‌مه‌ش هه‌موو بۆ ئه‌وه‌ی، تا ئیمانداران له‌پیاوان و له‌ئافره‌تان بخاته‌ناو به‌هه‌شتێکه‌وه که‌چه‌نده‌ها ڕووبار به‌ژێر دره‌خت و به‌به‌رده‌م کۆشک و ته‌لاره‌کانیدا ده‌ڕوات، هاوڕێ له‌گه‌ڵ ژیانی نه‌مریدا، هه‌روه‌ها بۆ ئه‌وه‌ی که‌چاوپۆشی له‌هه‌ڵه و گوناهه‌کانیان بکات و ئه‌م به‌ڵێنه له‌لایه‌ن خواوه‌ده‌ستکه‌وت و سه‌رفرازیه‌کی زۆر گه‌وره‌و بێ سنووره‌بۆ ئیمانداران....
