ئه‌و ڕۆژه دۆزه‌خ ده‌هێنرێت و نیشان ده‌درێت، جا ئه‌و ڕۆژه (ئاده‌میزادی بێ باوه‌ڕ) ده‌زانێت چ په‌ندێکی به‌سه‌ر خۆی هێناوه‌، به‌ڵام تازه به‌خۆدا هاتنه‌وه و په‌شیمانی هیچ سوودێکی نیه و دادی نادات؟!

پیاوانێك ستایشی خوا ده‌که‌ن و له‌و مزگه‌وتانه‌دا که بازرگانی و کڕین و فرۆشتن سه‌ر گه‌رمیان ناکات و غافڵ نابن له یادی خواو ئه‌نجامدانی نوێژه‌کان و به‌خشینی زه‌کات و له ڕۆژێك ده‌ترسن که دڵان و چاوان تیایدا ئاوه‌ژوو ده‌بن (له ترس و هه‌یبه‌تی ئه‌و ڕۆژه‌).

they said, "by allah, you will not cease remembering joseph until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish."

the hypocrites seek to trick god, but god is tricking them. when they stand up to pray they stand up lazily, showing off to the people and not remembering god save a little;
به‌ڕاستی دووڕووه‌کان (وا ده‌زانن) فێڵ له خوا ده‌که‌ن (له‌کاتێکدا) ئه‌و زاته فێڵه‌کانیان پووچ ده‌کاته‌وه (نازانن که دیار و نادیار، لای خوا ڕوون و ئاشکرایه‌)، هه‌ر کاتێکیش (بۆ ڕیاو ڕووپامایی) هه‌ڵده‌ستن بۆ نوێژ، زۆر به‌له‌ش گرانیی و ته‌مه‌ڵیی هه‌ڵده‌ستن، ئه‌وانه ڕیایی و ڕوپامایی بۆ خه‌ڵکی ده‌که‌ن، زۆر که‌م یادی خوا ده‌که‌ن.

the hypocrites indeed seek to deceive allah, but it is he who outwits them. when they stand up for prayer, they stand up lazily, showing off to the people and not remembering allah except a little,
