ކަލޭގެފާނު عفو ކުރެއްވުމުގައި ހިއްޕަވާށެވެ! އަދި ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް އަމުރުކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ޖާހިލުންނާ އެއްކިބާވެ ވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!

verily those who love that in decency should be propagated regarding those who believe, for them shall be a torment afflictive in the world and the hereafter. and allah knoweth, and ye know not.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إيمان ވި މީހުންގެ ތެރޭގައި ހުތުރުކަންބޮޑު ފާފައިގެ ވާހަކައާއި، عمل، ފެތުރިގެންދިއުމަށް ލޯބިކުރާމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ދުނިޔެއާއި آخرة ގައި ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب އެމީހުންނަށް ހުށްޓެވެ. اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް ނޭނގެތެވެ.

o the wives of the prophet! if any among you dares to commit an act contrary to decency, for her will be double the punishment of others; and this is easy for allah.
އޭ ނަބިއްޔާގެ އަނބިއަނބިކަނބަލުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަކަނބަލުންކުރެ ފާޅުވެގެންހުރި ހުތުރުކަން ބޮޑު ފާފަޔެއްކުރި މީހަކަށް ދެގުނަޔަށް عذاب އިތުރުކުރައްވާ ހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އެކަންތަކަކީ، اللَّه އަށް ދާދިފަސޭހަ ކަމެއް ކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

let the women [who are undergoing a waiting period] live in the same manner as you live yourselves, in accordance with your means; and do not harass them in order to make their lives difficult. if they are pregnant, maintain them until they give birth; if they suckle your infants, pay them for it; discuss things among yourselves in all decency -- if you cannot bear with each other, let another woman suckle for you --
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތަނަވަސްކަން ހުރިވަރަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އުޅޭ ތަނެއްގައި އެކަނބަލުން (އެބަހީ: ވަރިކޮށްފައި، عدّة ގައި ތިބޭ އަންހެނުން) ބައިތިއްބާށެވެ! އަދި އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ދަތިކުރުމަށްޓަކައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ގެއްލުން ނުދޭށެވެ! އަދި މާބަނޑު އަންހެނުން ކަމުގައި އެކަނބަލުން ވެއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އެކަނބަލުން ދަރި ވިހައިފުމަށް ދާނދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް خرد ކުރާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދަރިންނަށް) އެކަނބަލުން ކިރުދީފިނަމަ، ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް، އެކަނބަލުންގެ އުޖޫރަދޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މެދުގައި ހެޔޮގޮތުގައި އެކަކު އަނެކަކާ مشورة ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދަތިވެއްޖެނަމަ، އޭނާޔަށްޓަކައި، ފަހެ، (އެކުއްޖާޔަށް) އެހެން އަންހެނަކު ކިރުދޭނީއެވެ.
