he promises them and fills them with fancies, but what satan promises them is only a delusion.
شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންލައްވައި باطل އުންމީދު ކުރުވަތެވެ. އަދި، ހެއްލުންތެރިކަން މެނުވީ شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

satan promises them and arouses desire in them. but satan does not promise them except delusion.
شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންލައްވައި باطل އުންމީދު ކުރުވަތެވެ. އަދި، ހެއްލުންތެރިކަން މެނުވީ شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންލައްވައި باطل އުންމީދު ކުރުވަތެވެ. އަދި، ހެއްލުންތެރިކަން މެނުވީ شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

satan makes promises to them and fills them with vain hopes, but whatever he promises them is merely delusion.
شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންލައްވައި باطل އުންމީދު ކުރުވަތެވެ. އަދި، ހެއްލުންތެރިކަން މެނުވީ شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

or who is this who is a force for you to protect you against the compassionate? the disbelievers are in nothing but delusion.
ނުވަތަ رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް نصر ދޭނޭ لشكر އެއް ކަމުގައިވަނީ ކޮންބަޔެއްހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހެއްލުމެއްގެތެރޭގައި މެނުވީ كافر ންނުވެއެވެ.

or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the most merciful? the disbelievers are not but in delusion.
ނުވަތަ رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް نصر ދޭނޭ لشكر އެއް ކަމުގައިވަނީ ކޮންބަޔެއްހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހެއްލުމެއްގެތެރޭގައި މެނުވީ كافر ންނުވެއެވެ.

and when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease were saying: allah and his apostle have promised us nought but delusion.
އަދި منافق ންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވާ މީހުން ބުނާހިނދެވެ. اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ކެހިވެރި وعد އަކުން މެނުވީ وعد އެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ.

he holds out promises to them, and fills them with vain desires: but satan's promises are nothing but delusion.
شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންލައްވައި باطل އުންމީދު ކުރުވަތެވެ. އަދި، ހެއްލުންތެރިކަން މެނުވީ شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

and when the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, were saying: allah and his messenger promised us naught but delusion.
އަދި منافق ންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވާ މީހުން ބުނާހިނދެވެ. اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ކެހިވެރި وعد އަކުން މެނުވީ وعد އެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ.

and when tile hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is sickness, said, 'god and his messenger promised us only delusion.'
އަދި منافق ންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވާ މީހުން ބުނާހިނދެވެ. اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ކެހިވެރި وعد އަކުން މެނުވީ وعد އެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ.

go ahead and entice whomsoever of them you can, with your voice, and mount assaults against them with your cavalry and infantry and be their partner in wealth and offspring, and make promises to them, satan promises nothing but delusion,
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން، ކަލޭގެޔަށް ކުޅަދާނަވީ ބަޔަކު، ކަލޭގެ އަޑުން ބިރުގަންނަވައި ހެއްލުންތެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ކަލޭގެ ސަވާރުންތަކާއި، ފައިމަގުގައިވާ މީހުންތައް މެދުވެރިކޮށް، އެއުރެންގެމައްޗަށް ބާރުހިންގާށެވެ! އަދި މުދާތަކާއި، ދަރިފަސްކޮޅުތަކުގައި އެއުރެން ބައިވެރިކުރާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރާށެވެ! ހެއްލުންތެރިކަމެއްމެނުވީ، شيطان އާ އެއުރެންނަކަށް وعد އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

and [remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease said, "allah and his messenger did not promise us except delusion,"
އަދި منافق ންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވާ މީހުން ބުނާހިނދެވެ. اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ކެހިވެރި وعد އަކުން މެނުވީ وعد އެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ.

and behold! the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease (even) say: "allah and his messenger promised us nothing but delusion!"
އަދި منافق ންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްވާ މީހުން ބުނާހިނދެވެ. اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ކެހިވެރި وعد އަކުން މެނުވީ وعد އެއް ނުކުރައްވަތެވެ.
