believers, remember allah frequently,
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގިނަވެގެންވާ ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމަކުން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

o you who believe! remember allah, remembering frequently,
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގިނަވެގެންވާ ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމަކުން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

to give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to allah).
(އެއީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް) توبة ވާ ކޮންމެ އަޅަކަށް عبرة އެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، ހަނދާންކޮށްދިނުމެއް ކަމުގައެވެ.

indeed, abraham was forbearing, grieving and [frequently] returning [to allah].
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إبراهيم ގެފާނީ، ކޯފާ މަޑު، دعاء ކުރެއްވުންގިނަ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް رجوع ވެ، توبة ވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާ ބޭކަލެކެވެ.

you have an excellent example in the messenger of god; for anyone who seeks god and the last day, and remembers god frequently.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ رسول އާގެ ކިބައިގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ރިވެތިވެގެންވާ ނަމޫނާއެއްވެއެވެ. (އެއީ) اللَّه ގެ ދަރުމައާއި، آخرة ގެ ثواب އަށް އެދޭ، އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާ ކަމުގައިވާ މީހަކަށެވެ.

o believers, whensoever you encounter a host, then stand firm, and remember god frequently; haply so you will prosper.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (كافر ންގެ ހަނގުރާމަވެރި) ބަޔަކާ ބައްދަލުވެއްޖެނަމަަ ސާބިތުވެ ތިބޭހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި ނަސީބު ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

then, when the prayer is finished, scatter in the land and seek god's bounty, and remember god frequently; haply you will prosper.
ފަހެ، ނަމާދުކޮށް އަވަދިވެއްޖެހިނދު، ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިމުގައި ފެތުރިގަންނާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: حياة ގެ މައިދާނަށް ނުކުންނާށެވެ!) އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه ގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުން (ދެއްވުމަށް) އެދޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގިނަގިނައިން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދިންނަވައި نصيب ލިބުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

because of the wrongdoings of the jews, we forbade them certain good things that had been allowed to them before; for having frequently debarred others from god's path;
يهودى ން ކަމުގައިވީ މީހުންނަށް حلال ކުރައްވާފައިވާ ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތި، އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حرام ކުރެއްވީ، އެއުރެން އަނިޔާވެރިވުމުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެން اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި ގިނަގިނައިން ހުރަސްއަޅައި އުޅުމުގެ ސަބަބުންވެސް މެއެވެ.

except for those who believe, and do good deeds, and remember god frequently, and defend themselves after they are wronged. as for those who do wrong, they will know by what overturning they will be overturned.
إيمان ވެ صالح عمل ތައްކޮށް، އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން اللَّه ހަނދުމަކޮށް، އަދި އަނިޔާލިބުމަށްފަހު، نصر ލިބިގަތްމީހުން މެނުވީއެވެ. ނިކަންހުރެ އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންނަށް، އެއުރެން رجوع ވާހުށީ ކޮންތަނަކަށްކަން އެނގޭހުށްޓެވެ.

and when distress afflicts a man he calls upon his lord turning to him frequently; then when he makes him possess a favor from him, he forgets that for which he called upon him before, and sets up rivals to allah that he may cause (men) to stray off from his path. say: enjoy yourself in your ungratefulness a little, surely you are of the inmates of the fire.
އިންސާނާއަށް އުނދަގުލެއްޖެހޭހިނދު (އެކަމެއް ފިއްލަވާތޯ) އޭނާގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް رجوع ވެ دعاء ކުރެތެވެ. ދެން، އޭނާއަށް نعمة އެއް ދެއްވައިފިނަމަ، އެފަރާތަކަށް އޭނާ دعاء ކޮށް އުޅުނުފަރާތް (އެބަހީ: اللَّه) ހަނދާން ނައްތައިލައެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އަށް شريك ންތަކެއްލައެވެ. އެއީ އެކަލާނގެ މަގުން (މީހުން) ފުރެއްދުމަށެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ކަލޭގެ ތިޔަ كافر ކަމާއެކު ކުޑަދުވަސްކޮޅަކަށް ދުނިޔޭގައި އަރާމުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭވަނީ ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.
