and affirmed the truth of goodness:
ފަހެ) މުދަލުން (ހޭދަކޮށް) اللَّه އަށް (تقوى ވެރިވެ، އަދި އެންމެ ހެޔޮބަސް ތެދުކުރިމީހާ ދަންނާށެވެ!

surely he will succeed who grows in goodness,
ދެން އެމީހަކު އެތާނގައި މަރެއްވެސް ނުވާނެއެވެ. އަދި (އަރާމުހުރި ދިރުމަކުން) ނުވެސް ދިރޭނޭމެއެވެ.

is the requital of goodness anything but goodness?
ހެޔޮކަމުގެ ޖަޒާއަކީ، ހެޔޮ ثواب ކަމުގައި މެނުވީ ވާނެހެއްޔެވެ؟

a guidance and a mercy for the doers of goodness,
(އެއީ) إحسان ތެރިންނަށްޓަކައި އޮތް ތެދުމަގާއި، رحمة އެވެ.

are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others.
އެއުރެން އެންމެންނީ، ހެޔޮކަންތަކުގައި އަވަސްވެގަންނަ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެކަންތަކުގައި ކުރިއަރައިދާ މީހުންނެވެ.

we will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness).
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފަސޭހަކަން ހުރިމަގަށް އެމީހަކަށް މަގު ފަހިކޮށްދެއްވާ ހުށީމެވެ.

are quickly giving them goodness? in fact, they do not know.
މުދަލާއި، ދަރިންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވާ ދެއްވުން އެއީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ހެޔޮކަންތައް ދެއްވުމުގައި އަވަސްވެވޮޑިގަންނަވަނީކަމަށް އެއުރެން ހީކުރަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންނަށް (އެކަމުގެ حقيقة) ނޭނގެނީއެވެ.

as for him who comes to you striving (after goodness),
އެމީހަކު (كافر ކަމުން) طاهر ނުވުމަކުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއް ނެތެވެ.

it is they who race towards goodness. it is they who will reach it first.
އެއުރެން އެންމެންނީ، ހެޔޮކަންތަކުގައި އަވަސްވެގަންނަ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެކަންތަކުގައި ކުރިއަރައިދާ މީހުންނެވެ.

as for those who deserved goodness from us—these will be kept away from it.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން އެ ބަޔަކަށް ބާއްޖަވެރިކަން އިސްވެގޮސްފައިވާ މީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) އެއުރެންވަނީ، އެ ނަރަކަޔާ ދުރުކުރައްވާފައެވެ.

and man prays for evil like the way he seeks goodness; and man is very hasty.
އިންސާނާ، ހެޔޮކަމަށްއެދި دعاء ކުރާ ފަދައިން، ނުބައިކަމަށްވެސް އެދި دعاء ކުރެތެވެ. އަދި އިންސާނާއަކީ، އަވަސްވެގަންނަ މީހަކު ކަމުގައިވިއެވެ.

and we gave him goodness in this world, and in the hereafter he will be among the righteous.
އަދި ދުނިޔޭގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ހެޔޮކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގައި، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވަނީ، صالح ންގެތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

although this is nothing but an exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world.
عالم ތަކަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދިނުމެއްކަމުގައި މެނުވީ އެ قرآن ނުވެއެވެ.

and we gave him goodness in this world; and indeed in the hereafter he is worthy of proximity.
އަދި ދުނިޔޭގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ހެޔޮކަން ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގައި، އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވަނީ، صالح ންގެތެރެއިންކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

tell the believing men to lower their eyes and guard their private parts. there is for them goodness in this.
مؤمن ފިރިހެނުންނަށް، އެއުރެންގެ ބެލުންތައް ތިރިކުރުމަށާއި، އެއުރެންގެ فرج ތައް ރައްކާތެރިކުރުމަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އެގޮތް އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި، طاهر ކަން ބޮޑެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، އެއުރެން ކުރާކަންތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

man does not weary of seeking goodness; and if some misfortune reaches him, he loses hope, gets disappointed.
ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް دعاء ކުރުމަކަށް އިންސާނާ ފޫއްސެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އުންމީދުކެނޑި، ހިތްމަރުވެފައިވާ މީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

but the messenger and those who believed with him struggled with their wealth and their selves for them awaits goodness and those are the winners.
އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، رسول އާއާއި، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހުގައި إيمان ވެގެން ތިބިމީހުން، އެއުރެންގެ މުދާތަކާއި، نفس ތަކުން جهاد ކުރޫއެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް ހެޔޮ ދަރުމަތައް ހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ދިންނަވާނޭ މީހުންނަކީ ހަމަ އެއުރެންނެވެ.

and there may spring from you a nation who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. such are they who are successful.
ހެޔޮކަމުގެ މަގަށް ގޮވާ، އަދި ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް أمر ކުރާ، އަދި ނުބައިކަންތައް ނަހީކުރާ ބަޔަކު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ވާހުށިކަމެވެ! އެއުރެންނަކީ ހަމަ، ދިންނަވާނޭ މީހުންނެވެ.
