އަދި باطل ވާހަކަ ދައްކާ މީހުންނާ އެކުގައި، ތިމަންމެން باطل ވާހަކަ ދައްކައި އުޅުނީމުއެވެ.

and indeed they (arab pagans) used to say;
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: مكة ގެ مشرك ން) ބުނެއުޅެތެވެ.

"nor we used to feed al-miskin (the poor);
އަދި ތިމަންމެން مسكين ންނަށް ކާންދީއެއް ނޫޅެމުއެވެ.

"verily! this is that whereof you used to doubt!"
