އަދި އޯގާވެރިކަމާއި، ފަސޭހަކަމާއެކު (مؤمن ންގެ) ފުރާނަތައް ގެންދަވާ ملائكة ން ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

when the earth is violently shaken
ބިންގަނޑު ގަދަފަދައަށް ހެލިގެންފިހިނދެވެ.

and by the winds that blow violently,
އަދި ގަދަޔަށް އަންނަ ބާރު ވައިރޯޅިތަކާއި،

on the day when the sky whirls violently,
އެއީ އުޑު، ވަރަށްގަދަޔަށް ގުޑައިގެންދާ ދުވަހެވެ.

and the mountains shall violently fly about.
އަދި ފަރުބަދަތައް (ހުރިތަނުން ނެއްޓި) ހިނގައިގަންނަ ދުވަހެވެ.

on that day they will be violently pushed into the fire
އެދުވަހު ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާނުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެއުރެން ކޮއްޕައި ވައްޓައިލައްވާނެތެވެ.

by those [angels] who wrest [the soul] violently,
ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ ގޮތުގައި (كافر ންގެ) ފުރާނަތައް ގެންދަވާ ملائكة ން ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

the believers were then put to a severe test and were most violently convulsed.
އެވަގުތު مؤمن ން امتحان ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި ގަދަވެގެންވާ ގުޑުމަކުން އެއުރެންނަށް ގުޑުން އަރައިގެން ދިޔައެވެ. (އެބަހީ: އެއުރެންގެ ސާބިތުކަން ގެއްލި، އެގޮތް މިގޮތް ވެގެންދިޔައެވެ.)

i swear by the angels who violently pull out the souls of the wicked,
ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ ގޮތުގައި (كافر ންގެ) ފުރާނަތައް ގެންދަވާ ملائكة ން ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

accursed, they will be seized wherever they are confronted and slain violently:
އެއުރެންނަށް لعنة ލައްވާފައިވާ حال ގައެވެ. (އަދި) އެއުރެން ފެނުނު ކޮންމެ ތަނަކުން ހިފެވި، ބިރުވެރި قتل ކުރުމަކުން، އެއުރެން قتل ކުރެވޭހުށްޓެވެ.

by the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies,
ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ ގޮތުގައި (كافر ންގެ) ފުރާނަތައް ގެންދަވާ ملائكة ން ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

do you feel secure that the one in the heavens will not cause you to sink into the earth when it is violently shaking?
އުޑުގައިވާ ކަލާނގެ (އެބަހީ: މަތިވެރިވެގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާއިގެން ބިންގަނޑު ގަންބަވައިގެންފާނެ ކަމާމެދު (ބިރެއްނެތި) أمان ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިބީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، އެހާރުން، ބިންގަނޑު ތެޅިފޮޅިގަންނާނެތެވެ.

on the day the earth and mountains will rock violently, and the mountains turn to a heap of poured-out sand.
އެދުވަހުން ބިމާއި، ފަރުބަދަތައް ހެލިގެންދާނެތެވެ. އަދި ފައިބައިގެންދާ ވެލިފުންޏަކަށް އެ ފަރުބަދަތައް ވާހުށްޓެވެ.

on that day, the earth and the mountains will be violently shaken, and the mountains will be turned into heaps of moving sand.
އެދުވަހުން ބިމާއި، ފަރުބަދަތައް ހެލިގެންދާނެތެވެ. އަދި ފައިބައިގެންދާ ވެލިފުންޏަކަށް އެ ފަރުބަދަތައް ވާހުށްޓެވެ.

by the pluckers (the angels of death), violently plucking (the souls of the unbelievers),
ގަދަފަދަވެގެންވާ ގޮތުގައި (كافر ންގެ) ފުރާނަތައް ގެންދަވާ ملائكة ން ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

(they will come across all this) on the day when the earth and the mountains shall tremble violently and the mountains shall crumble into heaps of scattered sand.
އެދުވަހުން ބިމާއި، ފަރުބަދަތައް ހެލިގެންދާނެތެވެ. އަދި ފައިބައިގެންދާ ވެލިފުންޏަކަށް އެ ފަރުބަދަތައް ވާހުށްޓެވެ.

on the day (when the first blowing of the trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die),
(ތާޅަފިލި ފުރަތަމަފަހަރު ފުންމަވައިލެއްވުމުން) ބިންގަނޑު ހެލިގެންދާ ދުވަހެވެ.

and some ladies in the city began to say: "the chief's wife, violently in love with her houseboy, is out to tempt him. we think she is clearly mistaken."
(މިކަންތަކުގެ خبر ފެތުރިގެންދިޔުމުން) ރަށުތެރޭގެ އަންހެނުންގެ ބަޔަކު ބުނެފޫއެވެ. العزيز ގެ އަންހެނުން، އެކަނބުލޭގެ އަޅުކުއްޖާގެ ކިބައިން ނުބައިކަންތަކަށް އެދެނީއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަނބުލޭގެ ހިތްވަނީ، އެކުއްޖާގެ ލޯބިން ފުރިފައެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަނބުލޭގެ ވާކަމަށް ތިމަންމެންދެކެނީ ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ ފުރެދުމެއްގައެވެ.
