give to your relatives their due, and also to the needy and the wayfarer. yet do not spend extravagantly;
حق خويشاوند و مسكين و در راه‌مانده را ادا كن و هيچ اسرافكارى مكن.

and give the relative his right, and [also] the poor and the traveler, and do not spend wastefully.

اموال یتیمان را [پس از رشدشان] به آنان بدهید، و [اموال] پست و بی ارزش [خود] را با [اموالِ] مرغوب و با ارزش [آنان] عوض نکنید؛ و اموالشان را با ضمیمه کردن به اموال خود نخورید؛ زیرا آن گناهی بزرگ است.

spend your wealth in the way of allah and do not cast yourselves into ruin with your own hands. do all things gracefully, for allah loves those who do all things with excellence
در راه خدا انفاق كنيد و خويشتن را به دست خويش به هلاكت ميندازيد و نيكى كنيد كه خدا نيكوكاران را دوست دارد.

nothing stops their charities from being accepted except that they have no faith in allah and his apostle and do not perform the prayer but lazily, and do not spend but reluctantly.
هيچ چيز مانع قبول انفاقهايشان نشده مگر آنكه به خدا و پيامبرش ايمان نياورده‌اند و جز با بى‌ميلى به نماز حاضر نمى‌شوند و جز به كراهت انفاق نمى‌كنند.

and spend your wealth in allah's cause, and do not fall into ruin with your own hands; and be virtuous; undoubtedly the righteous are the beloved of allah.
در راه خدا انفاق كنيد و خويشتن را به دست خويش به هلاكت ميندازيد و نيكى كنيد كه خدا نيكوكاران را دوست دارد.

it is not up to you to guide them; rather, it is allah who guides whomever he wishes. whatever wealth you spend, it is for your own benefit, as you do not spend but to seek allah’s pleasure, and whatever wealth you spend will be repaid to you in full and you will not be wronged.
(ای رسول بر تو دعوت خلق است و) هدایت خلق بر تو نیست، خدا هر که را خواهد هدایت کند. و هر قسم انفاق و احسان کنید درباره خویش کرده‌اید، و نبایست انفاق کنید جز در راه رضای خدا، و هر انفاق و احسانی کنید از خدا پاداش تمام به شما رسد و هرگز به شما ستم نخواهد رسید.

(muhammad), you do not have to guide them. god guides whomever he wants. whatever you spend for the cause of god is for your own good, provided you do not spend anything but to please god. for anything good that you may give for the cause of god, you will receive sufficient reward and no injustice will be done to you.
