ва он беҳтаринро тасдиқ кард (калимаи тайибаро),

Ва номи Парвардигоратро ёд кун ва аз ҳама бибур ва ба Ӯ бипайванд:

and strive in his cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline).
Дар роҳи Худованд, чунон ки бояд ҷиҳод кунед. Ӯ шуморо баргузид.

and seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before me with sincerity.
Аз сабр ва намоз ёрӣ ҷӯед. Ва ин ду, коре душворанд, ҷуз барои аҳли хушӯъ (хоксорон, фурӯтанон).

yet all that they had been commanded was that they serve allah, with utter sincerity, devoting themselves exclusively to him, and that they establish prayer and pay zakah.
Ва ононро фақат ин фармон доданд, ки Худоро бипарастанд, дар ҳоле ки дар дини Ӯ ихлос меварзанд. Ва намоз гузоранду закот диҳанд.

(it was) so that god may ask the truthful of their sincerity. as for the infidels, he has prepared a painful punishment for them.
то ростгӯёнро аз сидқашон бипурсад ва барои кофирон азобе дардовар муҳайё кардааст.

and strive hard in allah's cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity and with all your efforts that his name should be superior).
Дар роҳи Худованд, чунон ки бояд ҷиҳод кунед. Ӯ шуморо баргузид.

(so seeing the girl) said: "shall i direct you to the people of a household that will rear him with utter sincerity?"
Он зан гуфт: «Оё мехоҳед шуморо ба хонаводае роҳнамоӣ кунам, ки ӯро бароятон нигоҳ доранд ва некхоҳаш бошанд?»

also mention in the book the case of idris: he was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet:

and so it happens that when you have boarded the ships and they set sail with a favourable wind, and the passengers rejoice at the pleasant voyage, then suddenly a fierce gale appears, and wave upon wave surges upon them from every side, and people believe that they are surrounded from all directions, and all of them cry out to allah in full sincerity of faith: 'if you deliver us from this we shall surely be thankful.
То он гоҳ, ки дар киштиҳо ҳастанд ва боди мувофиқ ба ҳаракаташон меоварад, шодмонанд. Чун тӯфон фаро расад ва мавҷ аз ҳар сӯ бар онҳо резад, чунон кн пиндоранд, ки дар муҳосираи мавҷ қарор гирифтаанд, Худоро аз рӯи ихлоси ақида бихонанд, ки агар моро аз ин хатар бираҳонӣ, аз шукргузорон хоҳем буд.
