and we sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest
அன்றியும், வானத்திலிருந்து மிக்க பாக்கியமுள்ள தண்ணீரை (மழையை) நாம் இறக்கி வைத்து, அதைக் கொண்டு தோட்டங்களையும், அறுவடை செய்யப்படும் தானியங்களையும் முளைப்பிக்கிறோம்.

follow the best aspect of what is sent down to you from your lord, before the scourge comes upon you unawares,
நீங்கள் அறியாத விதத்தில், திடீரென உங்களிடம் வேதனை வரும்முன்னரே, உங்கள் இறைவனால் உங்களுக்கருளப்பட்ட அழகானவற்றைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள்.

a book we have sent down to thee, blessed, that men possessed of minds may ponder its signs and so remember.
(நபியே!) பாக்கியம் பெற்ற இவ்வேதத்தை உம்மீது அருளியுள்ளோம் - அவர்கள் இதன் வசனங்களைக் கவனித்து ஆய்வதற்காகவும், அறிவுடையோர் நல்லுணர்வு பெறுவதற்காகவும்.

o mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your lord, and we have sent down to you a clear light.
மனிதர்களே! உங்கள் இறைவனிடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு (உறுதியான) அத்தாட்சி வந்து விட்டது. தெளிவான பேரொளியையும் உங்களிடம் இறக்கி வைத்துள்ளோம்.

god prepared for them a terrible chastisement. so fear god, o men possessed of minds! believers, god has sent down to you, for a remembrance,
அல்லாஹ் (அவர்களுக்குக்) கடினமான வேதனையை (மறுமையில்) சித்தம் செய்திருக்கின்றான், ஆகவே, ஈமான் கொண்டுள்ள அறிவுடையோரே! அல்லாஹ்வை நீங்கள் அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் - திட்டமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு நினைவுறுத்தும் இவ்வுபதேசத்தை இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றான்.

follow the best of what has been sent down to you from your lord, before the punishment overtakes you suddenly while you are unaware.’
நீங்கள் அறியாத விதத்தில், திடீரென உங்களிடம் வேதனை வரும்முன்னரே, உங்கள் இறைவனால் உங்களுக்கருளப்பட்ட அழகானவற்றைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள்.

allah has prepared for them a severe punishment; so fear allah, o you of understanding who have believed. allah has sent down to you the qur'an.
அல்லாஹ் (அவர்களுக்குக்) கடினமான வேதனையை (மறுமையில்) சித்தம் செய்திருக்கின்றான், ஆகவே, ஈமான் கொண்டுள்ள அறிவுடையோரே! அல்லாஹ்வை நீங்கள் அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் - திட்டமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு நினைவுறுத்தும் இவ்வுபதேசத்தை இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றான்.

and they said, ‘why was not this quran sent down to some great man from the two cities?’
மேலும் அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்; இந்த குர்ஆன் இவ்விரண்டு ஊர்களிலுள்ள பெரிய மனிதர் மீது இறக்கப்பட்டிருக்கக் கூடாதா?"

certainly we have sent down to you a book in which there is an admonition for you. do you not exercise your reason?
