அப்படியல்ல! அவர் சத்தியத்தையே கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறார்; அன்றியும் (தமக்கு முன்னர் வந்த) தூதர்களையும் உண்மைப்படுத்துகிறார்.

"அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே" என்று அவர்கள் சொல்வார்கள்; "(அவ்வாறாயின்) நீங்கள் அவனுக்கு அஞ்சி இருக்கமாட்டீர்களா?" என்று கூறுவீராக!

thereupon they will say, “such greatness is only that of allah”; say, “so why do you not fear?”
"அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே" என்று அவர்கள் சொல்வார்கள்; "(அவ்வாறாயின்) நீங்கள் அவனுக்கு அஞ்சி இருக்கமாட்டீர்களா?" என்று கூறுவீராக!

he will say: ‘so it is. our signs came to you, but you forgot them, and so you will be forgotten today.’
(அதற்கு இறைவன்,) "இவ்விதம்தான் இருக்கும்; நம்முடைய வசனங்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்தன அவற்றை நீ மறந்துவிட்டாய்; அவ்வாறே இன்றைய தினம் நீயும் மறக்கப்பட்டு விட்டாய்" என்று கூறுவான்.

they have denied you because of what you say; so you can neither avert, nor help. whoever among you commits injustice, we will make him taste a grievous punishment.
நீங்கள் சொல்லியதையெல்லாம் திடனாக இவர்கள் பொய்யாக்கிவிட்டனர் ஆகவே (இப்போது வேதனையைத்) தடுத்துக் கொள்ளவோ, உதவி பெற்றுக் கொள்ளவோ நீங்கள் சக்தி பெறமாட்டீர்கள்; மேலும் உங்களில் எவன் அநியாயம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தானோ, அவனை நாம் பெரியதொரு வேதனையைச் சுவைக்கச்செய்வோம்" (என்று இறைவன் கூறுவான்).

"நான் விட்டுவந்ததில் நல்ல காரியங்களைச் செய்வதற்காக" (என்றும் கூறுவான்). அவ்வாறில்லை! அவன் கூறுவது வெறும் வார்த்தையே(யன்றி வேறில்லை) அவர்கள் எழுப்பப்படும் நாள்வரையும் அவர்கள் முன்னே ஒரு திரையிருக்கிறது.

தங்களுக்குமுன் சென்று விட்டார்களே அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்ட நாள்களைப் போன்றதையேயன்றி, அவர்கள் (வேறு எதனiயும்) எதிர்பார்க்கின்றனரா? (அப்படியானால் அந்த கஷ்டகாலத்தை) நீங்களும் எதிர்பார்திருங்கள் - நிச்சயமாக நானும் உங்களுடன் எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.
