(ஆரம்பத்தில்) மனிதர்கள் ஒரே கூட்டத்தினராகவே இருந்தனர்;. அல்லாஹ் (நல்லோருக்கு) நன்மாராயங் கூறுவோராகவும், (தீயோருக்கு) அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வோராகவும் நபிமார்களை அனுப்பி வைத்தான்;. அத்துடன் மனிதர்களிடையே ஏற்படும் கருத்து வேறுபாடுகளைத் தீர்த்து வைப்பதற்காக அவர்களுடன் உண்மையுடைய வேதத்தையும் இறக்கி வைத்தான்;. எனினும் அவ்வேதம் கொடுக்கப் பெற்றவர்கள், தெளிவான ஆதாரங்கள் வந்த பின்னரும், தம்மிடையே உண்டான பொறாமை காரணமாக மாறுபட்டார்கள். ஆயினும் அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மாறுபட்டுப் புறக்கணித்துவிட்ட உண்மையின் பக்கம் செல்லுமாறு ஈமான் கொண்டோருக்குத் தன் அருளினால் நேர் வழி காட்டினான்;. அவ்வாறே, அல்லாஹ் தான் நாடியோரை நேர்வழியில் செலுத்துகிறான்.
