it is they who have given preference to the worldly life over the life to come. they create obstacles in the way that leads to god and try to make it seem crooked. they are in manifest error.
இவர்கள் மறுமையைவிட இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையையே (அதிகமாக) நேசிக்கின்றார்கள்; அல்லாஹ்வின் வழியை விட்டும் (மற்றவர்களையும்) தடுக்கின்றார்கள்; அது கோணலாக (இருக்க வேண்டுமென) விரும்புகிறார்கள் - இவர்கள் மிகவும் தூரமான வழிகேட்டிலேயே இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

tell my servants who have believed to perform the prayers, and to give from what we have given them, secretly and publicly, before a day comes in which there is neither trading nor friendship.
ஈமான் கொண்ட என் அடியார்களிடம் (நபியே!) "கொடுக்கல் வாங்கலும், நட்பும் இல்லாத (இறுதி) நாள் வருவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே, அவர்கள் தொழுகையை முறையாகக் கடைப்பிடித்து ஒழுகட்டும், நாம் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்தவற்றிலிருந்து, இரகசியமாகவும் பகிரங்கமாகவும் (தான தருமங்களில்) செலவு செய்யட்டும்" என்று நீர் கூறுவீராக.

those whom we have given the book will recognize this just as they recognize their own ofspring; but those who have courted their own ruin will not believe.

for every community we have ordained certain rites that they may commemorate the name of god by reading it over the cattle we have given them for sacrifice. your god is one god, so be obedient to him. give good tidings to those who bow in obedience to god,
இன்னும் கால்நடை(ப்பிராணி)களிலிருந்து அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு உணவாக்கியுள்ள (ஆடு, மாடு, ஒட்டகம் போன்ற)வற்றின் மீது அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பெயரைக் கூறும் படிச் செய்வதற்காவே குhபான் கொடுப்பதை ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்பாருக்கும் (கடமையாக) ஆக்கியிருக்கிறோம்; ஆகவே உங்கள் நாயன் ஒரே நாயன்தான்; எனவே அவ(ன் ஒருவ)னுக்கே நீங்கள முற்றிலும் வழிப்படுங்கள்; (நபியே!) உள்ளச்சம் உடையவர்களுக்கு நீர் நன்மாராயங் கூறுவீருhக!

those to whom we have given the book know him (prophet muhammad) as they know their own children. but those who have lost their own souls do not believe.

those who renounce their wives by calling them mothers should know that their wives could never become their mothers. their mothers are those who have given birth to them. the words that they speak are certainly detestable and sinful. but god is pardoning and all-forgiving.
"உங்களில் சிலர் தம் மனைவியரைத் "தாய்கள்" எனக் கூறிவிடுகின்றனர், அதனால் அவர்கள் இவர்களுடைடைய தாய்கள்" (ஆகிவிடுவது) இல்லை இவர்களைப் பெற்றெடுத்தவர்கள் தாம் இவர்களுடைய தாய்கள் ஆவார்கள் - எனினும், நிச்சயமாக இவர்கள் சொல்லில் வெறுக்கத்தக்கதையும், பொய்யானதையுமே கூறுகிறார்கள் - ஆனால் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் பொறுப்பவன், மிகவும் மன்னிப்பவன்.

can a person, who knows that what is revealed to you from your lord is the truth, be considered equal to a blind person? only those who have understanding take heed.
உம் இறைவனால் உம் மீது நிச்சயமாக இறக்கப்பட்ட (வேதத்)தை உண்மையன அறிகிறவர் குரடராக இருப்பவரைப் போலாவாரா? நிச்சயமாக (இவ்வேதத்தின் மூலம்) அறிவுடையவர்கள் தாம் நல்லுபதேசம் பெறுவார்கள்.

speak to my servants who have believed, that they may establish regular prayers, and spend (in charity) out of the sustenance we have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of a day in which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending.
