and the children of gad and the children of reuben spake unto moses, saying, thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.
และคนกาดกับคนรูเบนกล่าวแก่โมเสสว่า "คนใช้ของท่านจะกระทำดังที่เจ้านายของข้าพเจ้าบัญช

such as unite that which allah hath commandeth should be joined, and fear their lord, and dread a woeful reckoning;

and it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

ชับฎอนนั้น มันจะขู่พวกเจ้าให้กลัวความยากจน และจะใช้พวกเจ้าให้กระทำความชั่ว และอัลลอฮ์นั้น ทรงสัญญาแก่พวกเจ้าไว้ ซึ่งการอภัยโทษ และความกรุณาจากพระองค์ และอัลลอฮ์ นั้นเป็นผู้ทรงกว้างขวาง ผู้ทรงรอบรู้

and they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, what a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
คนทั้งปวงก็ประหลาดใจนักพูดกันว่า "คำนี้เป็นอย่างไรหนอ เพราะว่าท่านได้สั่งผีโสโครกด้วยสิทธิอำนาจและด้วยฤทธิ์เดช มันก็ออกมา

verily allah commandeth justice and well-doing and giving to kindred; and he prohibiteth lewdness and wickedness and oppression; he exhorteth you that haply ye may beadmonished.
แท้จริงอัลลอฮ์ทรงใช้ให้รักษาความยุติธรรมและทำดี และการบริจาคแก่ญาติใกล้ชิดและให้ละเว้นจากการทำลามกและการชั่วช้า และการอธรรม พระองค์ทรงตักเตือนพวกเจ้าเพื่อพวกเจ้าจักได้รำลึก

no good is there in much of their whispers except in his who commandeth charity or kindness or reconciliation among mankind; and whosoever doeth this seeking the good-will of allah, we shall presently give him a mighty hire.

and (he commandeth you, saying): this is my straight path, so follow it. follow not other ways, lest ye be parted from his way. this hath he ordained for you, that ye may ward off (evil).
และแท้จริงนี้คือทางของข้าอันเที่ยงตรงพวกเจ้าจงปฏิบัติตามมันเถิด และอย่าปฏิบัติตามหลาย ๆ ทาง เพราะมันจะทำให้พวกเจ้าแยกออกไปจากทางของพระองค์ นั่นแหละที่พระองค์ได้สั่งเสียมันไว้แก่พวกเจ้า เพื่อว่าพวกเจ้าจะยำเกรง
