and he said: "i am going away to my lord who will show me the way.
และอิบรอฮีมกล่าวว่า “ฉันจะไปหาพระเจ้าของฉัน แน่นอนพระองค์จะทรงแนะทางให้แก่ฉัน

and never say thou of a thing: verily i am going to do that on the morrow.
และเจ้าอย่ากล่าวเกี่ยวกับสิ่งใดว่า “แท้จริงฉันจะเป็นผู้ทำสิ่งนั้นในวันพรุ่งนี้”

so verily i am going to send a present unto them, and see with what answer the envoys come back.
“และแท้จริงฉันจะส่งของกำนัลไปให้พวกเขา แล้วฉันจะเฝ้าคอยดูว่า ผู้ที่ถูกส่งไปนั้นจะกลับมาอย่างไร ?”

and he said: lo! i am going unto my lord who will guide me.
และอิบรอฮีมกล่าวว่า “ฉันจะไปหาพระเจ้าของฉัน แน่นอนพระองค์จะทรงแนะทางให้แก่ฉัน

he said, “i am going towards my lord, and he will guide me.”
และอิบรอฮีมกล่าวว่า “ฉันจะไปหาพระเจ้าของฉัน แน่นอนพระองค์จะทรงแนะทางให้แก่ฉัน

he said, ‘indeed i am going toward my lord, who will guide me.’
และอิบรอฮีมกล่าวว่า “ฉันจะไปหาพระเจ้าของฉัน แน่นอนพระองค์จะทรงแนะทางให้แก่ฉัน

and when your lord said to the angels: surely i am going to create a mortal of the essence of black mud fashioned in shape.
และจงรำลึกเมื่อพระเจ้าของเจ้าตรัสแก่มะลาอิกะฮ์แก่ “แท้จริงข้าเป็นผู้สร้างมนุษย์จากดินแห้ง จากดินดำเป็นตม

and surely i am going to send a present to them, and shall wait to see what (answer) do the apostles bring back.
“และแท้จริงฉันจะส่งของกำนัลไปให้พวกเขา แล้วฉันจะเฝ้าคอยดูว่า ผู้ที่ถูกส่งไปนั้นจะกลับมาอย่างไร ?”

(remember) when your lord said to the angels: "truly, i am going to create man from clay".
จงรำลึกถึงขณะที่พระเจ้าตรัส แก่มะลาอิกะฮฺว่า แท้จริงข้าจะสร้างมนุษย์คนหนึ่งจากดิน

"but verily! i am going to send him a present, and see with what (answer) the messengers return."
“และแท้จริงฉันจะส่งของกำนัลไปให้พวกเขา แล้วฉันจะเฝ้าคอยดูว่า ผู้ที่ถูกส่งไปนั้นจะกลับมาอย่างไร ?”
