the preceptor again asks the postulant whether he is utterly free of impediments,
དེས་ཀྱང་མཁན་པོ་ལ་ཅི་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་གམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་ནས་

and actualized arhatship, becoming an arhat free of attachment to the three realms,
དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཁམས་གསུམ་པ་ལས་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་བྲལ་བ།

becoming arhats free of attachment to the three realms, for whom filth was equal to gold,
དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཁམས་གསུམ་པ་ལས་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་བྲལ་བ། བོང་བ་དང་གསེར་དུ་མཉམ་པ།

or for those who have not themselves emerged from the muck to free others from the muck.”
བདག་ཉིད་འདམ་ལས་མ་རྒལ་བར་གཞན་འདམ་ལས་སྒྲོལ་བར་བྱེད་པ་དེ་ནི་གནས་མེད་དོ།། །།

they view it free of desirous attachment, they view its cessation, and view and rest in its utter abandonment.
