et membra quae caesa sunt desuper ordinantes caput videlicet et cuncta quae adherent iecor
and the priests, aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

tulit autem populus de praeda oves et boves primitias eorum quae caesa sunt ut immolet domino deo suo in galgali
but the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the lord thy god in gilgal.

poena metusque aberant, nec verba minantia fixo aere legebantur, nec supplex turba timebat iudicis ora sui, sed erant sine vindice tuti. nondum caesa suis, peregrinum ut viseret orbem, 95montibus in liquidas pinus descenderat undas, nullaque mortales praeter sua litora norant.
no fear of punishment or reading these words, driving in the air, and the crowd begging the judge afraid of their mouths, but they were defenseless secure. you have not yet to have been slain with him, and to travel to witness them, and the world, the 95montibus, descended thence into the watery plain pine trees, or by any except their own men knew no shores.
