and it was so, that when solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the lord, he arose from before the altar of the lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

dixitque dominus ad eum exaudivi orationem tuam et deprecationem tuam qua deprecatus es coram me sanctificavi domum hanc quam aedificasti ut ponerem nomen meum ibi in sempiternum et erunt oculi mei et cor meum ibi cunctis diebu
and the lord said unto him, i have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: i have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
