"அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (அவர்கள் வழிபட்டவை அவை) பின்னர் அவர்களை, நரகத்தின் பாதைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லுங்கள்.
"besides allah, and lead them to the way to the (fierce) fire!

அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (மற்றவர்களை) அவள் வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்ததுதான் அவளைத் தடுத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தது நிச்சயமாக அவள் காஃபிர்களின் சமூகத்திலுள்ளவளாக இருந்தாள்.
and (all) that she was wont to worship instead of allah hindered her, for she came of disbelieving folk.

"(அப்படியாயின்) அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி உங்களுக்கு எந்த நன்மையும் செய்யாத உங்களுக்கு தீங்கும் அளிக்காதவற்றையா வணங்குகிறீர்கள்" என்று கேட்டார்.
(abraham) said, "do ye then worship, besides allah, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm?

(முஷ்ரிக்குகள்) தங்களுக்காக (அல்லாஹ்விடம் மன்றாடுவதற்கு) வல்லமையுடையவையென்று அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (வேறு) தெய்வங்களை எடுத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளார்கள்!
and they have chosen (other) gods beside allah that they may be a power for them.

பிறகு அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப் படும்; "(அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி,) நீங்கள் (அவனுக்கு) இணைவைத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தவை எங்கே?" என்று.
and then they will be asked, "where are those whom you associated [with god]?"

"அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (மற்றவற்றை வணங்கினீர்களே! இப்போது) அவை உங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யுமா? அல்லது தங்களுக்குத் தாங்களேனும் உதவி செய்து கொள்ளுமா,"
"instead of allah? can they help you or (even) help themselves?"
