de ogudaktiga hava ingen frid, säger min gud.
there is no peace, saith my god, to the wicked.

jag tackar min gud, så ofta jag tänker på eder,
i thank my god upon every remembrance of you,

tänk härpå, min gud, och räkna mig det till godo!
remember me, o my god, for good.

'du min fader, min gud och min frälsnings klippa.'
he shall cry unto me, thou art my father, my god, and the rock of my salvation.

men du förde min själ upp ur graven, herre, min gud.
they that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

så sade herren, min gud: »bliv en herde för slaktfåren,
thus saith the lord my god; feed the flock of the slaughter;

säg: "herre, min gud! himlarnas och jordens skapare!
invoke (o dear prophet mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “o allah!

hjälp mig, herre, min gud; fräls mig efter din nåd;
help me, o lord my god: o save me according to thy mercy:

min gud, låt dem bliva såsom virvlande löv, såsom strå för vinden.
as the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

gud, var icke långt ifrån mig; min gud, skynda till min hjälp.
o god, be not far from me: o my god, make haste for my help.

herre, min gud, har jag gjort sådant, och är orätt i mina händer,
if i have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, i have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)

de ropa till mig: »min gud! vi känna dig, vi av israel.»
israel shall cry unto me, my god, we know thee.

att göra din vilja, min gud, är min lust, och din lag är i mitt hjärta.»
i have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, i have not refrained my lips, o lord, thou knowest.

se, på dig, herre, hoppas jag; du skall svara, herre, min gud.
for i said, hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

jag vill lova herren, så länge jag lever, jag vill lovsjunga min gud, så länge jag är till.
while i live will i praise the lord: i will sing praises unto my god while i have any being.

han skall kalla mig så: 'du min fader, min gud och min frälsnings klippa.'
also i will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

jag vill sjunga till herrens ära, så länge jag lever; jag vill lovsjunga min gud, så länge jag är till.
i will sing unto the lord as long as i live: i will sing praise to my god while i have my being.

jag säger till herren: »du är min gud.» lyssna, o herre, till mina böners ljud.
o god the lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

[fadern] sade: "hatar du mina gudar, abraham?
(the father) replied: "dost thou hate my gods, o abraham?
