ورغم ذلك كله فقد حرصت حكومة الجمهورية اليمنية على تكليف السفير المندوب الدائم بإبﻻغ اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة بكل تلك الخروقات وتقديم مبادرة جديدة بشرط أن يلتزم المتمردون بتثبيت وقف إطﻻق النار ابتداء من الساعة الثانية عشرة من مساء اليوم الجمعة العاشر من حزيران/يونيه الجاري وذلك بإبﻻغ اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة أن حكومة الجمهورية اليمنية حرصا منها على عدم إتاحة الفرصة لعناصر الردة واﻻنفصال باستمرار سفك دماء اليمنيين لتنفيذ مخططهم اﻹجرامي فقد أصدر اﻷخ رئيس مجلس الرئاسة تعليماته بتكليف أعضاء اللجنة العسكرية اليمنية التي سبق تشكيلها بقرار من رئيس مجلس الرئاسة القائد اﻷعلى للقوات المسلحة بأن تتولى اﻹشراف على تثبيت وقف إطﻻق النار على أن تعقد أول اجتماع لها في مكان محدد اسمه جعول ويقع ما بين قرية صبر ودار سعد وذلك في تمام الساعة الحادية عشرة من صباح الغد السبت الموافق ١١ حزيران/يونيه الجاري.
