možda je jahve, bog tvoj, èuo rijeèi velikog peharnika koga je kralj asirski, gospodar njegov, poslao da se izruguje bogu živome, i možda æe jahve, bog tvoj, kazniti rijeèi koje je èuo! pomoli se pobožno za ostatak koji je još preostao!'"

but rabshakeh said, hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
ali im veliki peharnik odgovori: "zar me moj gospodar poslao da ovo kažem tvojem gospodaru i tebi, a ne upravo onim ljudima koji sjede na zidinama, osuðeni da s vama jedu svoju neèist i piju svoju mokraæu?"
