but why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of christ.
それだのに、あなたは、なぜ兄弟をさばくのか。あなたは、なぜ兄弟を軽んじるのか。わたしたちはみな、神のさばきの座の前に立つのである。

so, be not faint-hearted and do not cry for peace. you shall prevail. allah is with you and will not bring your works to nought.
だから落胆してはならない。和平を唱えてはならない。あなたがたは勝利を得るのである。アッラーは，あなたがたと共におられる。決してあなたがたの行いを失敗させない。

and laban said unto jacob, because thou art my brother, shouldest thou therefore serve me for nought? tell me, what shall thy wages be?
時にラバンはヤコブに言った、「あなたはわたしのおいだからといって、ただでわたしのために働くこともないでしょう。どんな報酬を望みますか、わたしに言ってください」。

and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath god chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
有力な者を無力な者にするために、この世で身分の低い者や軽んじられている者、すなわち、無きに等しい者を、あえて選ばれたのである。
