عِلـيّون އަކީ، ކޮންއެއްޗެއްކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދިނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

އަދި ހިތްތަކަށް ބިރުވެރިކަން ގެނެސްދޭ قيامة ދުވަހަކީ، ކޮންދުވަހެއްކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދިނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

and what shall teach thee what is the day of doom?
قيامة ދުވަހަކީ، ކޮންދުވަހެއްކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދިނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

and what shall teach thee what is the day of decision?
އަދި ނިޔާކުރައްވާ ދުވަހަކީ، ކޮންދުވަހެއްކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދިނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

again, what shall teach thee what is the day of doom?
ދެންވެސް قيامة ދުވަހަކީ، ކޮންދުވަހެއްކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދިނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

and what should teach thee? perchance he would cleanse him,
އަދި އޭނާ ކުށްތަކުން ސާފުވެ، طاهر ވެދާނެކަން، ނުވަތަ އޭނާ ހަނދުމަކޮށް، ދެން އެ ހަނދުމަކުޅައުން އޭނާޔަށް މަންފާކޮށްފާނެކަން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އަންގައިދެނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯއެވެ؟

but teach (thy message) for teaching benefits the believers.
ކަލޭގެފާނު ހަނދާންކޮށްދެއްވާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހަނދާންކޮށްދިނުމަކީ، مؤمن ންނަށް މަންފާކުރާނޭ ކަމެކެވެ.

and he will teach him writing and wisdom and the torah and the gospel
އަދި، ލިޔުމާއި، حكمة އާއި، توراة އާއި، إنجيل، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެކަލާނގެ އުނގަންނައި ދެއްވާނެތެވެ.

he will teach him the book, the wisdom, the torah and the gospel,
އަދި، ލިޔުމާއި، حكمة އާއި، توراة އާއި، إنجيل، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެކަލާނގެ އުނގަންނައި ދެއްވާނެތެވެ.

and he will teach him the book and the wisdom and the tavrat and the injeel.
އަދި، ލިޔުމާއި، حكمة އާއި، توراة އާއި، إنجيل، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެކަލާނގެ އުނގަންނައި ދެއްވާނެތެވެ.

"and allah will teach him the book and wisdom, the law and the gospel,
އަދި، ލިޔުމާއި، حكمة އާއި، توراة އާއި، إنجيل، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް އެކަލާނގެ އުނގަންނައި ދެއްވާނެތެވެ.

by degrees shall we teach thee to declare (the message), so thou shalt not forget,
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަވައިވިދާޅުވާ ބޭކަލަކު ކަމުގައި ލައްވާހުށީމެވެ. ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު (އެ قرآن) ހަނދުމަފުޅެއް ނުނެތޭނެތެވެ.

we did not teach him poetry, nor is it proper for him. it is only a reminder, and a clear quran.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ޅެން އުނގަންނަވައެއް ނުދެއްވަމެވެ. އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު އެކަމަކަށް އެކަށީގެނެއްވެސް ނުވެތެވެ. އެއީ ހަނދާންކޮށްދެނިވި ފޮތެއް ކަމުގައްޔާއި، ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ قرآن ކަމުގައި މެނުވީ ނުވެއެވެ.

moses asked him, "can i follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?"
އެބޭކަލަކަށް موسى ގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދެއްވާފައިވާ علم ން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް އުނގަންނަވައިދެއްވާންކަމަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު تبع ވަންތޯއެވެ؟

it is he who has sent to the illiterate a messenger from among their own people to recite to them his revelations and purify them. he will teach the book to them
أمّى ންގެ ތެރެޔަށް، އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން رسول އަކު ފޮނުއްވީ އެކަލާނގެއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ آية ތައް އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް އެކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަވައިދެއްވަތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން طاهر ކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި ފޮތާއި، حكمة އެއުރެންނަށް އުނގަންނައިދެއްވަތެވެ. އޭގެކުރިން އެއުރެން ތިބީ ފާޅުވެ ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ އުރެދުމެއްގައިކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

moses said to him: "may l follow you that you may teach me something of the wisdom which you have been taught?"
އެބޭކަލަކަށް موسى ގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ދެއްވާފައިވާ علم ން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް އުނގަންނަވައިދެއްވާންކަމަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު تبع ވަންތޯއެވެ؟

even as we sent a messenger from among you to convey our messages to you and cleanse you, and teach you the book and the wisdom, and what you did not know;
ހަމައެފަދައިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކިޔަވައިދެއްވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (ކުށްތަކުން) طاهر ކުރައްވައި، ފޮތާއި حكمة ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އުނގަންނައިދެއްވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކުރިން އެނގިފައިނުވާ ކަންތައް އުނގަންނައި ދެއްވުމަށްޓަކައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެޔަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން رسول އަކު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ.

as to those who deny the signs of allah and in defiance of right, slay the prophets, and slay those who teach just dealing with mankind, announce to them a grievous penalty.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކަށް كافر ވެ، حق އަކާނުލައި، ނަބިއްޔުން قتل ކޮށް، މީސްތަކުންގެ ތެރެއިން عدل އަށް أمر ކުރާ މީހުން قتل ކޮށް އުޅޭމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުރިކަމުގެ خبر، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެއްވާށެވެ!

allah certainly favoured the faithful when he raised up among them an apostle from among themselves to recite to them his signs and to purify them and teach them the book and wisdom, and earlier they had indeed been in manifest error.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، مؤمن ންގެ މައްޗަށް اللَّه ދަރުމަވަންތަވެ ވޮޑިގެންފިއެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެޔަށް، ހަމަ އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން رسول އަކު ފޮނުއްވި ހިނދުގައެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ آية ތައް އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔަވައިދެއްވާ އަދި، އެއުރެން طاهر ކުރައްވާ، އަދި ފޮތާއި حكمة، އެއުރެންނަށް އުނގަންނައިދެއްވާ ބޭކަލެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ. އޭގެކުރިން އެއުރެންވީ، ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ މަގުފުރެދުމެއްގައިކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.
