Ва сарзамини хуб — гиёҳи он ба фармони Парвардигораш мерӯяд ва замини бад — ҷуз андак гиёҳе аз он падид намеояд.

it is like rain whose vegetation pleases the unbelievers, but then it withers and turns yellow, becoming broken stubble.
Сипас пажмурда мешавад ва бинӣ, ки зард гаштааст ва хошок шудааст.

and the good land -- its vegetation comes forth by the leave of its lord, and the corrupt -- it comes forth but scantily.
Ва сарзамини хуб — гиёҳи он ба фармони Парвардигораш мерӯяд ва замини бад — ҷуз андак гиёҳе аз он падид намеояд.

and we spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and caused every delightful kind [of vegetation] to grow in it.
Ва заминро густурдем ва дар он кӯҳҳои баланд афкандем ва аз ҳар гуна набототи хушманзар дар он рӯёнидем.

the parable of the life of this world is that of water which we send down from the sky. it mingles with the earth’s vegetation from which humans and cattle eat.
Мисоли ин зиндагии дунё чун боронест, ки аз осмон нозил кунем, то ба он ҳар гуна растаниҳо аз замин бирӯяд, чӣ онҳо, ки одамиён мехӯранд ва чӣ онҳо, ки чорпоён мечаранд.

and coin for them the similitude of the life of the world as water which we send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingleth with it and then becometh dry twigs that the winds scatter. allah is able to do all things.
Барояшон зиндагии дунёро мисол ор» ки чун боронест, ки аз осмон биборад ва бо он гиёҳони гуногун ба фаровонӣ бирӯяд. Ногоҳ хушк шавад ва бод ба ҳар сӯ парокандааш созад ва Худо бар ҳар коре тавоност!

give them an example about worldly life. it is like the vegetation of the earth that thrives when watered by the rain, which we send down from the sky, and then it all becomes stubble which the wind blows away.
Барояшон зиндагии дунёро мисол ор» ки чун боронест, ки аз осмон биборад ва бо он гиёҳони гуногун ба фаровонӣ бирӯяд.

have they not seen how we drive water (rain clouds) to the dry land without any vegetation, and therewith bring forth crops providing food for their cattle and themselves?
Оё намебинанд, ки обро ба замини хушку бегиёҳ равона месозем, то киштзорҳо бирӯёнем ва чорпоён ва худашон аз он бихӯранд?

as for the good land, its vegetation cometh forth by permission of its lord; while as for that which is bad, only the useless cometh forth (from it).
Ва сарзамини хуб — гиёҳи он ба фармони Парвардигораш мерӯяд ва замини бад — ҷуз андак гиёҳе аз он падид намеояд.

(o prophet), propound to them the parable of the present life: it is like the vegetation of the earth which flourished luxuriantly when it mingled with the water that we sent down from the sky, but after that the same vegetation turned into stubble which the winds blew about. allah alone has the power over all things.
Барояшон зиндагии дунёро мисол ор» ки чун боронест, ки аз осмон биборад ва бо он гиёҳони гуногун ба фаровонӣ бирӯяд. Ногоҳ хушк шавад ва бод ба ҳар сӯ парокандааш созад ва Худо бар ҳар коре тавоност!
