እናንተም የበላዮች ስትኾኑ ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ አትስነፉ ፤ አትዘኑም ፡ ፡

yes , if you are steadfast and godwary , and should they come at you suddenly , your lord will aid you with five thousand angels sent in [ to the scene of battle ] .
« አዎን ብትታገሱና ብትጠነቀቁ ከዚህም ፍጥነታቸው ( ጠላቶቻችሁ ) ቢመጡባችሁ ጌታችሁ ምልክት ባላቸው አምስት ሺህ መላእክት ይረዳችኋል ፡ ፡ »

say : " o you jews , if you claim that you are the favourites of god apart from all men , then wish for death , if you speak the truth .
« እናንተ አይሁዳውያን የኾናችሁ ሆይ ! ከሰው ሁሉ በስተቀር እናንተ ብቻ ለአላህ ወዳጆች ነን ብትሉ እውነተኞች እንደኾናችሁ ሞትን ተመኙ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

allah is therich and you are the poor . if you turn away , he will replace you with another nation , and they will not be like you .
ንቁ ! እናንተ እነዚያ በአላህ መንገድ ትለግሱ ዘንድ የምትጥጠሩ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ውስጥ የሚሰስት ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ የሚሰስትም ሰው የሚሰስተው በራሱ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከበርቴ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም ድኾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ይለውጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ባለመታዘዝ ) ብጤዎቻችሁ አይኾኑም ፡ ፡

" if you punish them , they are your slaves , and if you forgive them , verily you , only you are the all-mighty , the all-wise . "
« ብትቀጣቸው እነርሱ ባሮችህ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለነርሱ ብትምርም አንተ አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነህ » ( ይላል ) ፡ ፡

if you punish them ( for their disbelief ) , they surely are your subjects ; and if you forgive them , surely you are the almighty , the wise '
« ብትቀጣቸው እነርሱ ባሮችህ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለነርሱ ብትምርም አንተ አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው ነህ » ( ይላል ) ፡ ፡

say : o you who are jews , if you think that you are the favorites of allah to the exclusion of other people , then invoke death if you are truthful .
« እናንተ አይሁዳውያን የኾናችሁ ሆይ ! ከሰው ሁሉ በስተቀር እናንተ ብቻ ለአላህ ወዳጆች ነን ብትሉ እውነተኞች እንደኾናችሁ ሞትን ተመኙ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

god is the all-sufficient ; you are the needy ones . if you turn away , he will substitute another people instead of you , then they will not be your likes .
ንቁ ! እናንተ እነዚያ በአላህ መንገድ ትለግሱ ዘንድ የምትጥጠሩ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ውስጥ የሚሰስት ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ የሚሰስትም ሰው የሚሰስተው በራሱ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከበርቴ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም ድኾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ይለውጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ባለመታዘዝ ) ብጤዎቻችሁ አይኾኑም ፡ ፡

are the two males unlawful ( to eat ) or the two females or those that are in the wombs of the females ? if you are truthful , then , answer me exactly .
ስምንትን ዓይነቶች ከበግ ሁለትን ( ወንድና ሴትን ) ከፍየልም ሁለትን ( ፈጠረ ) ፡ ፡ « ከሁለቱም ክፍሎች አላህ ወንዶቹን እርም አደረገን ወይስ ሴቶቹን ወይስ በርሱ ላይ የሁለቱ ሴቶች ማሕፀኖች ያጠቃለሉትን እውነተኞች እንደሆናችሁ በዕውቀት ( በአስረጅ ) ንገሩኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , ask the jews , " if you believe that you are the chosen people of god to the exclusion of all other people , wish for death if you are truthful " .
« እናንተ አይሁዳውያን የኾናችሁ ሆይ ! ከሰው ሁሉ በስተቀር እናንተ ብቻ ለአላህ ወዳጆች ነን ብትሉ እውነተኞች እንደኾናችሁ ሞትን ተመኙ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

if you are surprised , then astonishing is the speech ( of those who say : ) " having turned to dust shall we be raised as a new creation ? " they are the ones who deny their lord , and they will have collars around their necks .
ብትደነቅም ዐፈር በኾንን ጊዜ እና አዲስ ፍጥረት እንኾናለን ማለታቸው ( ታላቅ ) ድንቅ ነው ፡ ፡ እነዚህ እነዚያ በጌታቸው የካዱት ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚህም እንዛዝላዎች በአንገቶቻቸው ላይ ያሉባቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚሀም የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነሱ በውስጧ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and if you are amazed , then indeed the amazement is at their saying that , “ will we , after having turned to dust , be created anew ? ” they are those who have disbelieved in their lord ; and they are those who will have shackles around their necks ; and they are the people of hell ; remaining in it forever .
