ኀይሎቹ ብርቱው ( መልአክ ) አስተማረው ፡ ፡

is there an oath in that for one possessing intellect ?
በዚህ ( መሓላ ) ለባለ አእምሮ ታላቅ መሓላ አለበትን ?

a guidance and an advice for the people of intellect .
ለባለ አእምሮዎች መሪና ገሳጭ ሲኾን ፡ ፡

and we have undoubtedly kept a part of it as a clear sign for people of intellect .
በእርግጥም ለሚያስቡ ሰዎች ከእርሷ ግልጽ ምልክትን ተውን ( አስቀረን ) ፡ ፡

eat , and graze your cattle ; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect .
ብሉ እንስሳዎቻችሁንም አግጡ ፤ ( ባዮች ኾነን አወጣንላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለአእምሮ ባለቤቶች በእርግጥ ተዓምራት አለበት ፡ ፡

god has prepared for them a severe retribution . so beware of god , o you who possess intellect and have faith .
አላህ ለእነርሱ ብርቱን ቅጣት አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የአእምሮ ባለቤቶች ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ያመኑ ( ሆይ ) ! አላህ ወደናንተ ግሳጼን በእርግጥ አወረደ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛን ( ላከ ) ፡ ፡

a book the verses of which are explained in detail , the qur an ’ in arabic for people of intellect .
አንቀጾቹ የተብራሩ የኾነ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ ዐረብኛ ቁርኣን ሲኾን ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች ( የተብራራ ) ነው ፡ ፡

allah has prepared for them a severe punishment . so be wary of allah , o you who possess intellect and have faith !
አላህ ለእነርሱ ብርቱን ቅጣት አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የአእምሮ ባለቤቶች ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ያመኑ ( ሆይ ) ! አላህ ወደናንተ ግሳጼን በእርግጥ አወረደ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛን ( ላከ ) ፡ ፡

and allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing , and he made for you hearing and vision and intellect that perhaps you would be grateful .
አላህም ከእናቶቻችሁ ሆዶች ምንም የማታውቁ ሆናችሁ አወጣችሁ ፡ ፡ ታመሰግኑም ዘንድ ለእናንተ መስሚያን ማያዎችንም ልቦችንም አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡

allah has kept prepared a severe punishment for them – therefore fear allah , o men of intellect ! o people who believe !
አላህ ለእነርሱ ብርቱን ቅጣት አዘጋጀ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የአእምሮ ባለቤቶች ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ያመኑ ( ሆይ ) ! አላህ ወደናንተ ግሳጼን በእርግጥ አወረደ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛን ( ላከ ) ፡ ፡

we gave [ back ] his family to him along with others like them , as a mercy from us and an admonition for those who possess intellect .
ለእርሱም ከእኛ ዘንድ ለችሮታ ባለአእምሮዎችንም ለመገሠጽ ቤተሰቦቹን ከእነርሱም ጋር መሰላቸውን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡

[ this is ] a blessed book that we have sent down to you , so that they may contemplate its signs , and that those who possess intellect may take admonition .
( ይህ ) ወዳንተ ያወረድነው ብሩክ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ አንቀጾቹን እንዲያስተነትኑና የአእምሮዎች ባለቤቶችም እንዲገሰጹ ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡

and he subjected the night and the day for you – and the sun and the moon ; and the stars are subjected to his command ; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect .
ለእናንተም ሌሊትንና ቀንን ፣ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ገራላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከዋክብትም በፈቃዱ የተገሩ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ተዓምራቶች አልሉ ፡ ፡

and among his signs is that he shows you the lightning , instilling fear and hope , and sends down water from the sky , so revives the earth after its death ; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect .
ብልጭታንም ፈሪዎችና ከጃዮች ስትሆኑ ለእናንተ ማሳየቱ ፣ ከሰማይም ውሃን ማውረዱ ፣ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው ማድረጉ ከአስደናቂ ምልክቶቹ ነው ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያስቡ ሕዝቦች ተዓምራቶች አልሉበት ፡ ፡

and in the alternation of night and day , and in the means of sustenance water – – which allah sends down from the sky whereby he gave life to the earth after its death , and in the movement of the winds – ( in all these ) are signs for people of intellect .
በሌሊትና መዓልት መተካካትም ፣ ከሲሳይም ( ከዝናም ) አላህ ከሰማይ ባወረደው በርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው በማድረጉ ፣ ነፋሶችንም ( በያቅጣጫቸው ) በማዘዋወሩ ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች ማስረጃዎች አልሉ ፡ ፡
