እንዲሁ ለብ ስላልህ በራድም ወይም ትኩስ ስላልሆንህ ከአፌ ልተፋህ ነው።

repent; or else i will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
እንግዲህ ንስሐ ግባ፤ አለዚያ ፈጥኜ እመጣብሃለሁ፥ በአፌም ሰይፍ እዋጋቸዋለሁ።

if any of the pagans ask you to give them refuge , give them asylum so that they may hear the words of god . then , return them to their towns for they are an ignorant people .
ከአጋሪዎችም አንዱ ጥገኝነትን ቢጠይቅ የአላህን ቃል ይሰማ ዘንድ አስጠጋው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ወደ መጠበቂያው ስፍራ አድርሰው ፡ ፡ ይህ እነሱ የማያውቁ ሕዝቦች በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

and if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection , then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of allah . then deliver him to his place of safety .
ከአጋሪዎችም አንዱ ጥገኝነትን ቢጠይቅ የአላህን ቃል ይሰማ ዘንድ አስጠጋው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ወደ መጠበቂያው ስፍራ አድርሰው ፡ ፡ ይህ እነሱ የማያውቁ ሕዝቦች በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

but he said, yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of god, and keep it.
እርሱ ግን። አዎን፥ ብፁዓንስ የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል ሰምተው የሚጠብቁት ናቸው አለ።

he against whom the word of chastisement is realized -- shalt thou deliver him out of the fire ?
በእርሱ ላይ የቅጣት ቃል የተረጋገጠችበትን ሰው ( ትመራዋለህን ? ) አንተ በእሳት ውስጥ ያለን ሰው ታድናለህን ?

when they dishonoured their pledge we condemned them , and hardened their hearts . so they distort the words of the scripture out of context , and have forgotten some of what they were warned against .
ቃል ኪዳናቸውንም በማፍረሳቸው ረገምናቸው ፡ ፡ ልቦቻቸውንም ደረቆች አደረግን ፡ ፡ ቃላትን ከቦታዎቻቸው ይለውጣሉ ፡ ፡ በርሱም ከታዘዙበት ነገር ፈንታን ተው ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም ጥቂቶች ሲቀሩ ከነርሱ የኾነን ክዳት የምታውቅባቸው ከመኾን አትወገድም ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም ይቅርታ አድርግ እለፋቸውም ፡ ፡ አላህ መልካም ሠሪዎችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

because of their breaking their pledge , we cursed them , and made their hearts hard . they twist the words out of their context , and they disregarded some of what they were reminded of .
ቃል ኪዳናቸውንም በማፍረሳቸው ረገምናቸው ፡ ፡ ልቦቻቸውንም ደረቆች አደረግን ፡ ፡ ቃላትን ከቦታዎቻቸው ይለውጣሉ ፡ ፡ በርሱም ከታዘዙበት ነገር ፈንታን ተው ፡ ፡ ከእነሱም ጥቂቶች ሲቀሩ ከነርሱ የኾነን ክዳት የምታውቅባቸው ከመኾን አትወገድም ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም ይቅርታ አድርግ እለፋቸውም ፡ ፡ አላህ መልካም ሠሪዎችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

do you , the believers in truth , desire the unbelievers to believe you ? there was a group among them who would hear the word of god and understand it .
( አይሁዶች ) ከነሱ የኾኑ ጭፍሮች የአላህን ቃል የሚሰሙና ከዚያም ከተረዱት በኋላ እነርሱ እያወቁ የሚለውጡት ሲኾኑ ለናንተ ማመናቸውን ትከጅላላችሁን ?

a thing about which they have no knowledge , neither they nor their ancestors . dreadful is the word that comes out of their mouths .
ለእነሱም ለአባቶቻቸውም በርሱ ምንም እውቀት የላቸውም ፡ ፡ ከአፎቻቸው የምትወጣውን ቃል ምን አከበዳት ! ውሸትን እንጂ አይናገሩም ፡ ፡

if any of the polytheists seeks asylum from you , grant him asylum until he hears the word of allah . then convey him to his place of safety .
ከአጋሪዎችም አንዱ ጥገኝነትን ቢጠይቅ የአላህን ቃል ይሰማ ዘንድ አስጠጋው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ወደ መጠበቂያው ስፍራ አድርሰው ፡ ፡ ይህ እነሱ የማያውቁ ሕዝቦች በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

and if one of the idolaters seek protection from you , grant him protection till he hears the word of allah , then make him attain his place of safety ; this is because they are a people who do not know .
ከአጋሪዎችም አንዱ ጥገኝነትን ቢጠይቅ የአላህን ቃል ይሰማ ዘንድ አስጠጋው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ወደ መጠበቂያው ስፍራ አድርሰው ፡ ፡ ይህ እነሱ የማያውቁ ሕዝቦች በመኾናቸው ነው ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , tell them , " had the seas been used as ink to write down the words of my lord , they would have all been consumed before the words of my lord could have been recorded , even though replenished with a like quantity of ink .
« ባሕሩ ለጌታዬ ቃላት ( መጻፊያ ) ቀለሞችን በሆነ ኖሮ ብጤውን ጭማሪ ብናመጣም እንኳን የጌታዬ ቃላት ከማለቋ በፊት ባሕሩ ባለቀ ነበር » በላቸው ፡ ፡

when the word falls on them , we shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them : ' mankind had no faith in our signs . '
በእነርሱም ላይ ( የቅጣት ) ቃሉ በተረጋገጠ ጊዜ ሰዎቹ በአንቀጾቻችን የማያረጋግጡ እንደነበሩ የምትነግራቸውን እንስሳ ለእነርሱ ከምድር እናወጣለን ፡ ፡

say : " if the ocean turned to ink for writing down the colloquy of my lord , the ocean itself would be exhausted ere the words ( and wonders ) of my lord come to end , even if we brought another like it for replenishment . "
« ባሕሩ ለጌታዬ ቃላት ( መጻፊያ ) ቀለሞችን በሆነ ኖሮ ብጤውን ጭማሪ ብናመጣም እንኳን የጌታዬ ቃላት ከማለቋ በፊት ባሕሩ ባለቀ ነበር » በላቸው ፡ ፡
